  1. The lights are on on Centrepublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

The lights have been switched on on Centre Court and the linesmen and women have strolled back on along with the ballboys and girls. Shouldn't be long until Federer and Muller are called back out.

Former F1 driver Mark Webber and his other half Ann are in the player's box on court two, cheering on fellow Aussie Lleyton Hewitt in his match against Jerzy Janowicz. The Pole is currently leading 7-5 4-4 but the tournament referee is on court assessing the conditions as the rains looks to have intensified.

  3. The covers are off on Centrepublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

I can see grass again on Centre as the court attendants remove the covers and set to work putting the nets back in place. It's pretty dark out there, but that'll be sorted once they power up the floodlights.

  4. The roof is being closedpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

Organisers have decided to close the roof. It takes about eight minutes to do that, but there will be a 30-minute delay or so in total while conditions acclimatise.

Play continues on some of the outside courts, with Lleyton Hewitt battling Jerzy Janowicz on court two. Hewitt is giving away 10 years and nine inches in height to his Polish opponent.

A fair few umbrellas have popped up around Centre Court while others have chosen raincoats of the bin bag-style variety.

  7. Rain stops play on Centrepublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

The players have scurried off just as the court attendants rush across with the covers in a bid to keep the grass as dry as possible.

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

"It's a difficult one because you want to wait and see what the weather does but the longer you let the drizzle on the court the slippier it gets."

  9. Rain stops playpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

It had to happen at some point. The tournament referee has decided to stop play on Centre Court as a light sprinkling of rain falls at the All England Club.

It's going with serve out on Centre Court with Muller improving his first serve percentage to 85%. That has eased the pressure on the German's service games.

  11. Vote resultpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

    54% of you replied no.

  12. Postpublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

"A lot of Muller's performance is going to be based on his serve. When he serves and stays back and they get into baseline rallies there is only going to be one winner. It puts an enormous amount of pressure on your own serve when your opponent is holding so easily."

  13. Postpublished at 18:56 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

Former world number one and 2002 Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt has lost the first set against 15th seed Jerzy Janowicz out on court two.

  14. GAME AND FIRST SETpublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

Federer breaks the Muller serve for the second time in the match to wrap up the set in just 23 minutes. The skies have darkened, but no sign of rain at the moment. At this rate, the Swiss will be back home with his feet up before the heavens open.

  15. Postpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

"Muller has done a pretty good job on his first serve but when he has to hit a second serve he is only winning a quarter of the points."

  16. GAME, SET AND MATCHpublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

John Isner beats Jarkko Nieminen in three sets and he didn't even need a tie-break in the third. The ninth seed won 7-6 (19-17) 7-6 (7-3) 7-5.

That first set tie-break was the second longest men's singles' tie-break in Wimbledon history.

In the 1973 first round, Bjorn Borg won a 20-18 tie-break against Premjit Lall on his way to winning the match 6-3 6-4 9- 8 (20- 18). (Tie-breaks were played at 8-8 in 1973)

  17. Federer breakspublished at 18:44 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

Roger Federer is cruising already out on Centre Court, a patch of grass he has made his home during the last decade. The Swiss breaks the Muller serve and holds in the next game to consolidate the break.

  18. Postpublished at 18:42 British Summer Time 26 June 2014

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

"It's really tough to pick on Muller's serve. He gets the ball toss a long way out to the left, which you would think would mean he gets less pace, but he is able to flatten it out."
