Samantha Murray (who plays Maria Sharapova on Court One later): "I'm excited to play someone of her level. It is a dream draw to get the chance to play against her and it is really exciting. It has been different to what I am used to on the Challenger Tour and I am looking forward to it. I've been watching videos of her and I know what I will do when I go out and play her.

"I want to put my game on the court, do my best and show people what I can do. Being at Wimbledon is special - last year I was star-struck, this year I am more relaxed. I worked here one year in accreditation so this is a bit different!"

"Fresh from his opening victory in defence of the Wimbledon title, Andy Murray was in good spirits as he turned up for practice.

"The Briton opened with some light rallying with his hitting partner before coach Amelie Mauresmo asked him to practise angled cross-court forehands, laced with topspin and power before switching and going for a big forehand down the line.

"Good....good....good one," says an encouraging Mauresmo. The Frenchwoman then adds some competition to proceedings.

"The first to seven points wins, with a focus on cross court winners. Murray edges it 7-6, having been 6-2 up, and clenches his fist as a joke as he jogs to the net."

Next take a trip over to court two where Canadian Milos Raonic, long touted as a potential Wimbledon winner of the future, tees off against Australian Matthew Ebden.

And if that is all a little too biff and bosh for you, take a peek at Richard Gasquet who will be strutting his stylish all-court stuff over on court 18 against James Duckworth.
