Poor old Bauti. He's a man going up against a tank with a pea-shooter. Broken again, broken into little tiny pieces. The end? Nigh.
They're rather enjoying this on Henman Hill, and why not? Murray aceing with casual ease, accelerating towards two days off and a Monday meeting with Kevin Anderson.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"This guy looks exhausted. He's been out there an hour and 12 minutes. That's what happens when you play the week before and win and then play someone this good."
Murray in the golden zone now, magic crackling off his racquet with every stroke - chase this, chase that, wave that one past. Baustista Agut, let's not forget, is the 23rd ranked player in the world, and Murray is toying with him like a cat might a half-dead goldfish.
Ranks of line judges lean forward from the hips, hands braced on knees, and wait to call the Murray serve. Call it peachy, chaps - and while you're at it, admire those double-handed backhand drives too. An hour and eight minutes gone, Murray at a canter.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"The bad news for him is that every time he steps up to serve Murray feels like he has good shot of breaking him. That gets in your head very quickly."
Andrew Castle
Former British number one on BBC TV
"The bad news for the Spaniard is he has never come from two sets down."
Lordy, what a forehand that is - two Bautista Aguts couldn't have reached that one, and another hammering forehand that's several megatons too strong brings up three set points. One saved as Murray goes long, another as he nets, the third to a mishit return. Cuffing forehand return that leaves BA nailed to the floor, piledriver down the line, in to the net, gossamer backhand volley for a two-set lead. Dreamy.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"A couple of Murray's second serves were really sitting up there. But we have new balls now so that should help him the next time he tries to serve out for the set."
Deferential silence around Centre as Murray serves for a two-set lead. First real error as he nets an off-balance forehand to concede his first break point - first serve wide, second sitting up, Bautista Agut in charge, sensing blood, taking a break back as Murray flops a backhand into the net. No need to panic.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"The good news is that Murray is healthy. He seems, physically, finally to be all the way back. Getting to the semis of the French was as good as winning a smaller event."
John Lloyd
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 live
"Murray is playing so well. The ball is coming back to Agut in awkward positions, making it so hard to return the ball. Murray is in the zone. It's the feeling you get as a tennis player sometimes, Murray more than most."
Murray toying with his frazzled opponent, moving him from side to side like a cruel marionette, waiting for the error, pouncing on every tiny weakness. The only answer that BA can come up with at the moment is the wrong one.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"Bautista Agut is as far back for Murray's serve as you can possibly go without hitting the line judge or the ballboy."
Steven Connor:, external "He's playing like a Wimbledon champion. Superb Murray."
Dawn:, external "The noise Bautista Agut makes is very annoying!"
BA's removed his white cap now the sun's slipped away off Centre, but the titfer tweak does little to improve his impact on Murray's serve - still to lose a single point on his first serve, the Scot, going out wide or down the middle with equal success.
Tim Henman
Former British number one on 5 live
"If Bautista Agut is struggling with Murray's serve he has to give him a different look, just to try and break up the rhythm a little bit."
Brief sweet relief for Bautista Agut as Murray pops a backhand lob beyond the baseline to allow him to hang onto a straightforward service game for the first time in an age.
Nicola Jade:, external "Well that first set was done quickly and efficiently! Come on Murray."
Chirag Atrey:, external "Murray in sublime form. Beautiful to watch."
