Settle down, Stan was just teasing us. Forehand as Federer runs the wrong sends us in to overtime. Meanwhile, Djokovic is easing down the home straight.
Now, where once Federer was struggling to get a string on the Wawrinka serve, errors from the Swiss baby brother have made this squeaky. Deuce as Wawrinka serves to stay in the set.
Peter Fleming
Seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion on BBC TV
"Somehow Cilic needs to send out the energy and hope Djokovic can miss a few first serves. So often at moments like this it is about the moments of inspiration and champions have it."
We remain on serve in the second on Centre, Wawrinka clenching a fist after a spicy rally that had Federer scuttling, won with a Stan backhand down the line. Meanwhile, back on Royal Box-watch, Hugh Grant is spotted alongside Michael McIntyre. What could they be talking about? And what's in those bags? Hugh seems to have pulled out a ladies' deodorant.
Marin Cilic has quite magnificent eyebrows. You could shine your shoes on them. He scowls as he sits down, wiping his brow(s) and puffing out his cheeks. He must find a way to break the Djokovic serve if he is going to stay in these Championships.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"It wasn't an understatement when I said Wawrinka's backhand was awesome and he is living up to the billing so far."
Wonderful backhand return from Federer draws gasps from the crowd, but it's a mere footnote in a Wawrinka hold. The Royal Box is filling up again, the Duke and Duchess are surrounded. I suspect that means I've missed out on a prawn sandwich.
Andy Murray after losing 6-1 7-6 6-2 to Grigor Dimitrov: "My start to the match was poor. I started the match badly. And I think that gave him confidence. You know, I should have done a better job at the beginning of the match of making it tougher for him, and I didn't manage to do that. Also, when I got back into the second set, the end of the set, you know, that was my opportunity there."
Normal service resumed? With Cilic clocking up the errors and Djokovic, erm, happy in his shoes, the number one seed has the break in the decider. A delicate drop has Cilic chasing a shadow and Djokovic once again on course for the last four.
Federer's first real opportunity, two break points. Cheers inside Centre, much larger than when Wawrinka gains the upper hand. Old habits die hard. For that reason, you can close your eyes and know what happens next. There is no roar, only polite applause. Wawrinka battles back to hold.
Tanya Smith:, external Nadal & Murray out . Djokovic & Federer in trouble. Is the guard changing at the top?
Beth Routledge:, external And so for the first time, you have to ask: Might we be looking at Wimbledon semis with none of the Big 4?
John Wells:, external Are we witnessing passing of the old guard (Nadal, Murray, Federer) to the new guard (Dimitrov, Kyrgios, Wawrinka)
Where did I put my fifth-set trainers? Novak Djokovic and Marin Cilic are going all the way for a place in the final, despite the Serb being pressured when serving for the set. When Cilic goes long, Djokovic clenches his right fist, but that's about all we get in terms of a celebration. He's ticking, perhaps thinking he should had this won an hour ago.
Peter Fleming
Seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion on BBC TV
"I don't know why Novak is struggling today. Maybe he is on edge because he is a heavy favourite and knowing two of the guys he fears most are out of the tournament."
Holds apiece for Wawrinka and Federer at the start of the second, with Centre just beginning to fill again after Murray disappointment is tempered by an expensive beverage. On One, Djokovic is about to serve for the fourth set.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"Both Murray and Federer had cruised into the quarter-finals but these matches have proved a real step up. Wawrinka has been through the mill so far and faced a lot tougher matches."
Wawrinka has the look of a little brother, a sidekick. He even walked on to court a few paces behind Federer. Little bro is the favourite child right now, though. Three set points, the second taken with a scorching forehand that has Federer throwing his strings at thin air. Wawrinka doesn't even celebrate. This sidekick sees himself as the main man.
Jimmy Connors
Two-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
"Kyrgios has the game and the charisma and attitude and he believes. He had such a great day yesterday but has to come out here again today. He has a tough match against Raonic and whoever gets the returns in play and doesn't panic will win."
Djokovic still looks pristine. White polo shirt perfectly laundered, not a bead of sweat on his fluffy black hair. Marin Cilic, however, looks like a man that has been digging his garden in the sunshine. Shirt undone, dripping wet, hot and bothered. Double break for Djokovic, who celebrates with a new pair of socks. On Centre, Wawrinka will serve for the first set.
Key, simultaneous action on the showcourts. Djokovic comes through a wobble to hold behind the break, while Wawrinka resists the Fed express to move within one game of the set. Just on the Duchess of Cambridge, what does her mum call her now? Catherine or Duchess? Also, does she ever get in trouble with her parents? Do they ever use the line 'just because you're a Duchess, it doesn't mean you can talk to me like that'?
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are back/still in the Royal Box, a box that is now so empty that they could have seven or eight seats each. They sit behind Federer, who is given some smashing practice by his compatriot. Fed looking to break back, on One, Djokovic looking to consolidate his advantage.
