And Milos Raonic is back in the room.

No sign of any strapping around his leg or any other limb.

We are ready to resume. I'll keep a close eye on his movement.

Right, we have an albi for our missing men.

Milos Raonic has departed for a medical time-out. Apparently he has a problem in his upper leg.

Intriguing. There has been no sign of Raonic struggling on court.

Murray, fresh from the bathroom, is back out and knocking a ball against the backboards waiting for his opponent.

It seems both players have downed tools for the moment.

Milos Raonic - who has a loo break just three games ago - and Andy Murray have headed behind the scenes.

William Searle: Time for some Murray heroics. Listening while supervising SILENT study in the school library, struggling to keep myself quiet.

David Melton: As the set count goes up, I am finding it harder to harder see the score and keep it hidden behind my work.

    *Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 1-2 Raonic

Milos Raonic ploughs his way to 40-0.

Andy Murray nicks one point against the head as he runs down a drop-shot and flicks away a winner.

It is a footnote rather than a headline though. Raonic humps down another master-blaster of a serve.

Oh, we are doing this again are we?

Andy Murray follows suit with a hold of love of his own.

Both players are landing with around 70% of their first serves and are winning 80% of points when they do.

    You do the maths.

    *Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 0-1 Raonic

Milos Raonic departs the scene for a comfort break.

He looks pretty comfortable regardless of his bladder capacity.

The Canadian re-emerges from the bowels of the Rod Laver Arena to hold serve to love.

He takes a sip of water and looks like he fancies a first taste of a Grand Slam final.

  9. If it goes to five sets...published at 11:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2016

Andy Murray has a 1-3 win-loss record in five-set matches at the Australian Open. The only five-set match he has won in Melbourne came in 2013 when he defeated Roger Federer in the semi-finals.

However, he has won six of his last seven five-set matches, with his only defeat in that time coming to Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals at 2015 French Open.

Fifty-eight minutes on the clock for that third set.

There was nothing much to separate them, but Milos Raonic looked a little more solid on serve throughout and so it proved when the pair came under the scrutiny of the tie-break.

I think it is fair to say neither man will be worrying Novak Djokovic too much after his dissection of Roger Federer in the other semi-final.
