Phew. Phone Steve McQueen (you might struggle on reflection). That remake of the Great Escape is in the can.

Murray slips off the hook. And now Raonic must serve to stay in the set at 6-5 down.

He failed to do so in the second set finale.

Andy Murray backed into a corner as he offers up 0-30 to Milos Raonic for the second game running.

    How are those nerves?

Oh my. Murray's are rock-solid as a delicious drop-shot dies out of reach to take him back level at 30-30.

    On we go...

Milos Raonic is playing with the accuracy and nervelessness of a supercomputer.

A lovely one-two punch - serve out wide, forehand blast down the line - helps him coast to 40-0.

The Canadian nestles into that big cushion of a lead as he stretches the strings with a full-blooded second serve. That is almost on the baseline.

But a ace - with the kick of a mule - finds the mark on the next point.

    Murray 4-6 7-5 5-4 Raonic*

    Now, this is a nerve-jangler.

Andy Murray duffs a nothing-much forehand into the top of the net to hand Milos Raonic 0-30. Sticky.

The Scots calls on the serve gods and they answer his prayers with a pinpoint delivery out wide that Raonic can only pat into the net.

Murray levels to 30-30 and is then drawn into some baseline trench warfare, as he batters back and forth for supremacy. There is the error from Raonic! Into the net and 40-30.

Fortune favours the brave and Murray surges to the net on the next point and gets a little lucky as Raonic pings a shot straight at him. Murray volleys away and is out of danger.

    For now.

Another hold to love and, as we head into the pointy end of things, this is tightrope tennis.

One slip on serve and, the way that the other guy is teeing off, there seems there will be no way back.
