    Broady 2-4 Murray*

Liam Broady has the vague air of noughties-era Leonardo di Caprio with his cap pulled down tight on his head and that shaggy beard.

This is going to be a better survival story than the Revanant if he manages to swing the match his way.

Another service game on the board though.

    *Broady 1-4 Murray

Another service game ticked off to love.

Murray has won eight out of eight points behind his first serve and four out of four behind his second serve.

Fifteen minutes on the clock and Murray is just a couple of games away.

    Broady 1-3 Murray*

Andy Murray frames a second-service returns up towards the centre-court after misreading a ball into his body.

A photographer attempts to take the steepling catch one-handed. Complacent. He spills to groans from the crowd.

Another Liam Broady serve skids off the service box to allow him to belatedly make an impression on the scoreboard.

That was something else the Murray shot, Broady really hit that forehand.

That is how to run defence into attack.

    *Broady 0-3 Murray

Andy Murray breezes to another love service hold. Eight minutes, three games and only one point conceded.

It does not look much of a step up from an early-morning hit for the world number two so far.

    Broady 0-2 Murray*

Liam Broady looked pretty comfortable roaming around the badlands of the outside courts last year, beating Marinko Matosevic in the first round.

This is very much the room that Wimbledon saves for best.

The Stockport man looks a little worried about upsetting the best china as he yanks a forehand at 15-15.

Two break points Murray. And he clinches the first with a scurrying forehand into the unprotected open court after an exchange of angles.

    • Britain's Aljaz Bedene was beaten 6-4 6-4 6-3 by Richard Gasquet

    *Broady 0-1 Murray

There are 233 places between these two in the rankings.

There are certainly four clear points.

Andy Murray sweeps up the opening game to love, sealing it with a delicious drop-shot that drifts millimetres over the wire, bites hard on the turf and dies well out of the reach of Liam Broady.

I think it tapped three times on the court surface before there was even a sniff of string near it.

    Broady 0-0 Murray*

Ivan Lendl quietly slips into the seat that he last occupied in Andy Murray's historic 2013 final win.

Old Stoneface shares a joke and a smirk with fellow coach Jamie Delgado. They look thick as thieves.

Andy Murray to serve first and he is cheered on his way to the baseline by the Centre Court crowd.

    Murray v Broady

    Russell Fuller
    BBC tennis correspondent at Wimbledon

Broady considers Andy Murray a friend and has a huge amount of respect for what he has achieved and the amount of time he has invested in the British junior players.

Murray spends a surprising amount of time watching the younger players playing in challenger events online and Broady and the other players are very grateful for that.

I hope Broady plays like James Ward did yesterday, go for it and throw everything at Andy Murray.

    And so it begins again.

Here comes Andy Murray out onto Centre Court.

Following is British number six Liam Broady.

The underdog is winning the facial hair stakes. Murray still in 'forgotten razor' territory, Broady is sporting a little thicker fuzz.

    Williams 6-2 6-4 Sadikovic

Serena Williams after her win over Amra Sadikovic: "I never underestimate anyone really good match I don’t think tougher than I thought but it was definitely tough.

"I started fast which is a start for me and that is about it (that pleased her).

"This is me I am always shouting at myself and pushing myself so that was absolutely nothing different.

"It is great to be back, my Mom was in the Royal Box and now I need to get my dad out here."

It was one of the worst serving efforts I've seen from Serena. This is what is giving other players hope.

A nice ending for Serena after a few wobbles in that second set. No question that she has room to improve, but she got through today.

    Williams 6-2 6-4 Sadikovic

No sooner had we said Amra Sadikovic was pushing hard against Serena Williams, the world number one has wrapped up the match in style.

Williams earned three break and match points on Sadikovic's serve.

The American wasted two of them, and it looked like she'd wasted a third by hitting long. But she challenged the call and it was in - buried into the bottom corner.

Williams throws her hands up in the air with delight.

  17. Nick Kyrgios beats Radek Stepanekpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 28 June 2016

Nick Kyrgios may have stumbled in the third set, but the rest of his performance was superb.

Beating Radek Stepanek in four sets, the Czech only chalked a single game on the board in the fourth.

Another yelp and scream from Serena Williams as Amra Sadikovic levels in the second set at 4-4.

The Macedonia-born Swiss is giving the world number one a run for a money at the moment and the crowd are really getting behind her on Centre Court.

Sadikovic has a nice back story as well, as explained by the WTA in this article.  , external
