Williams v Sadikovic
Serena Williams strides out onto Centre Court carrying a racquet bag that would make a sherpa shudder.
The defending champion, the world number one, but she has had her dominance questioned in the run-up to this tournament.
She came two matches of the calendar Slam last year, but business-end defeats to Roberta Vinci, Angelique Kerber and Garbine Muguruza have led to suggestion that the Serena Era is at an end.
If Swiss world number 148 Amra Sadikovic beats her today the career obituary writers really will have for fodder to work with.
Actor Will Poulter is at the All England Club as well.
And he has brought his mum Caroline along.
Big brownie points that. He must be after the car for the weekend or something.
Vernon is providing the dapper. Tess is providing the laughs.
No-one is providing Dapper Laughs happily.
Gasquet 6-3 4-2 Bedene*
Frenchman Richard Gasquet took the first set off Aljaz Bedene with relative ease, and he has gone a break up against the Brit in the second.

You just sense Gasquet is just stepping up a gear in the last five or ten minutes.
He is applying a lot of pressure down the other end of the court.

Roger Federer certainly knows how to draw a crowd...even at practice.
Radek Stepanek has not only lost the first set, Nick Kyrgios is rubbing it in by peppering him with balls when he comes up to the net.
Ok maybe not peppering, but he certainly landed this powerful shot on him.

Slovenian-born Aljaz Bedene may have failed in his bid to play for the Great Britain Davis Cup team, but that hasn't stopped captain Leon Smith squeezing into a busy Court Three to watch him.
And Bedene will be hoping Smith's inspirational presence can instantly rub off on him. French seventh-seed Richard Gasquet is providing plenty of va-va-voom.
Another Brexit at Wimbledon is on the cards.
Nick Kyrgios takes the first set with a fantastic cross court shot.

As you enter the practice courts over on the far side of the All England Club, there's a big media scrum all looking at one thing.
Is Djokovic here? Maybe Murray?
No, it's our very own Sue Barker, doing her thing live on BBC Two alongside Tim Henman and Martina Navratilova.
Ever the professionals, the trio manage to somehow ignore the many cameras, phones, wires, sound systems and members of the public staring at them.

What we saw was not the number, but timing of the errors from Bedene.
He got back into the set and then played two or three loose points to lose serve again.
That kills all the momentum and then Gasquet served onto three lines to serve out the set.
The margins are so fine.
Kyrgios 6-4 Stepanek
Strap in for the usual Nick Kyrgios roller-coaster ride out on Court Two.
The Australian has been his usual mix of crankiness and brilliance, going a break up via a delicious drop-shot, losing it and his rag with the umpire and finally snatching up the first set against Radek Stepanek.
