Gasquet 6-3 6-4 6-3 Bedene
The French seventh seed was too strong for British number two Aljaz Bedene today.
Plenty of the usual style from Gasquet, here's the stats.

It did not take Richard Gasquet long to dispatch Brit Aljaz Bedene. A straight sets win for the Frenchman and with plenty spare in his legs for the next round.

Williams 6-2 2-2 Sadikovic

Three-time Wimbledon singles champions on BBC TV
Unfortunately for Sadikovic, sometimes when you believe you can do something, expectations rise...and performance levels drop.

Lindsay Davenport
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV
What a reaction there from Sadikovic when she did break! Great to see a player not afraid to compete against Serena.
Williams 6-2 2-2 Sadikova
Now then, what do we have here? A fist pump from Amra Sadikova?
The Swiss world number 156 has broken six-time champion Serena Williams early in the second set.
But now a matching celebrating for Williams - she breaks back immediately!
A good contest, this.

The crowd are showing appreciation for one of the game's artists.
Bedene strung a lot of good tennis together but Gasquet had a bit too much class.
Bedene had a few too many errors at the start of the sets which didn't help him, he is going in the right direction.
Gasquet 6-3 6-4 5-3 Bedene
Britain's Aljaz Bedene was broken early on in the third set against Richard Gasquet and he hasn't been able to recover.
Gasquet has held serve and is now one game away from progressing to round two.
Williams 6-2 Sadikovic
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champions on BBC TV
Serena seems to be one of the few players I've seen who can go months without playing, and turn up at a major tournament with a chance of winning it.
Williams 6-2 Sadikovic
Well, well, well. Amra Sadikovic has managed to go from 0-40 to deuce, denying Serena Williams three set points in the process.
But the Swiss finds herself about to be broken again by the world number one.
And Williams does it - she breaks to wrap up the first set in 35 minutes. Steady as she goes.
Williams 5-2 Sadikovic
She may have gone 3-0 down early doors, but Amra Sadikovic isn't rolling over for her world number one opponent.
Williams screams in anger and frustration as she slams the ball into the net. Sadikovic has got under her skin, for sure.
But Williams does see out her service game to lead 5-2.
Kyrgios 6-4 6-3 6-6 Stepanek

Petr Cech is sat in fellow Czech Radek Stepanek's box - and the Arsenal keeper became rather animated when his mate broke back to save the third set.
He jumped to his feet and brought out the triple fist-pump. It was like Olivier Giroud had just bagged the winner at White Hart Lane.
I thought football was a sore talking point?
Williams 4-1 Sadikovic*
Serena Williams serves three double faults, and Amra Sadikovic sniffs a break here.
Williams somehow manages to stave it off, though, and goes on to take the game to lead 4-1.
She sits down at her chair and looks deep in concentration. Game face on, Serena.
Gasquet 6-3 6-4 Bedene

Aljaz Bedene will have to do it the hard way to reach the second round, he now trails Richard Gasquet two sets to love.
The Briton did beat Radek Stepanek at Wimbledon last year and Pablo Carreno Busta at this year's French Open in five sets however.
"As fantastic as those two matches were, to do that against Gasquet would be a completely different ask."
It all started so well for Amra Sadikovic, she was two break points away from taking the first game from Serena Williams. She was doing so well in fact that after a backhand winner, John McEnroe wanted to know if she was from Iceland. (She is Swiss John, just to clarify)
Kyrgios 6-4 6-3 5-3 Stepanek

The Fanatics are strangely quiet at the moment as they perch behind their Aussie hero Nick Kyrgios. No chanting or no whooping, despite their man racing towards round two.
Oh, hang on. They've found their voice. A rendition of "If you love Nick Kyrgios clap your hands" starts at the changeover. Not quite Hey Jude sing-a-long levels.
Kyrgios is having fun too. Every winner - and even missed opportunities - are greeted with a grin and a look up to his box.
Williams 3-0 Sadikovic
Serena Williams serves an ace into the bottom corner to hold to love and she moves 3-0 up in the first set.
Amra Sadikovic hasn't had much to go on in the last few minutes
Lajovic 6-4 3-6 6-3 2-4 Brown
Frank Keogh
BBC Sport
Big crowd gathered on Court 16 where spectators are bunched together trying to catch a glimpse of the dread-locked Dustin Brown.
Brown is a bit of humdinger against Dejan Lajovic, he is 2-1 down but 4-2 up in the fourth.
Williams v Sadikovic
Lindsay Davenport
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV
When Serena wasn’t able to win the calendar slam last year, it set her back a few months, it affected her more than she admitted.
It has taken her nine months to get back into the right mind frame.
It was interesting to hear her after her French Open loss, Serena comes in with a lot of focus and intensity.
Williams v Sadikovic
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champions on BBC TV
It is sort of like England playing Iceland. This would be even more monumental.
