    Djokovic 1-1 Mannarino

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

Arguably the most improved shot in men's tennis since 2010, the Djokovic first serve - not that the second hasn't improved significantly as well.

And now Adrian Mannarino holds to love. Wooosh.

That's the way to come out against the world number one on Centre Court. Bravo.

The Wimbledon shop is rammed and it is not just shelter from the drizzle that people are after.

From sweat bands and water bottles to necklaces and cufflinks, if you can brand it with a tennis ball and a bit of green and purple, it's there.

I thought about this tea towel. And then thought again.

    Djokovic 1-0 Mannarino*

Wait, what's going on here? Break point Mannarino! He has two of the little blighters as well.

First one is taken from him by a Djokovic forehand, and then the Frenchman returns into the net, so we go to deuce.

A Djokovic backhand winner gives him the advantage and he goes on to hold.

No early scare for the Serb.

  5. Djokovic v Le Francepublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 29 June 2016

Nice little stat (not for Adrian Mannarino): Novak Djokovic has lost just once in his last 40 matches with French players.

    Bonne chance, mon ami.

    Djokovic v Mannarino

Defending champion Novak Djokovic and world number 55 Adrian Mannarino of France emerge from the tunnel and give warm smiles and waves to the crowd.

In the crowd, people hurriedly get out there phones to capture the moment they go past...but unfortunately one lovely elderly lady can't quite work out which way her iPad goes and she misses the whole shebang.

    Modern technology, eh?

Marcus Willis v Roger Federer (c16:00 BST)

    Frank Keogh
    BBC Sport

Jenny Bate, the girlfriend of British number 23 Marcus Willis, has been taking the newfound attention in her stride ahead of her other half's tussle later with seven-time champion Roger Federer.

The 30-year-old, who persuaded Willis not to retire, told me: "He's just got his mind on the game now, rather than being a bit of a lad."

Bate is a dental surgeon, so it might have been rather appropriate if his match had started at 2.30, whereas 4pm is the best guess on starting time.

Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2 6-1 Kateryna Kozlova

    Lindsay Davenport
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

She had to wait a day, but it was worth it. Radwanska gets to play on Centre Court and gets the win in her favourite tournament.

Too many unforced errors crept into the game of Koslova, especially on balls she shouldn't be missing. Her technique is very sound.

She was up against a very tough opponent, but it is a day she will remember.

    Radwanska 6-2 6-1 Kozlova

Agnieszka Radwanska, on match point, tries an audacious backwards lob but it just hits the net. shame, that would have been a cracking winner.

Radwanska goes to celebrate again, thinking she's struck the final ball, but Kozlova challenges and HawkEye rules it out. A wry smile for the Ukranian.

Radwanska has another go...and this time it's certain. Kozlova tips the ball into the net and it's all over.

A fairly routine victory for the third seed.

My shoes are also off but that's because they were drenched with rain water from earlier and seem to have shrunk.

    Radwanska 6-2 4-1 Kozlova

    Lindsay Davenport
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

She doesn't miss much and whenever you think she's in a tough position, her hands always get her out of trouble.

You just never know what to expect off the racket of Radwanska.

Things just starting to get away from Koslova here quickly.

    Radwanska 6-2 4-1 Kozlova*

It's gone a bit topsy-turvy on Centre Court.

First Agnieszka Radwanska breaks Kateryna Kozlova to take a 3-1 lead in the second, but she then finds herself 0-30 down on her own serve.

However, the Pole slams her second ace of the match down court and Kozlova's sliced forehand goes wide.

Radwanska holds and she's edging closer to a straight sets victory.

It's been nice to see this young lady, Kozlova, settle down and play some very good tennis against one of the world's best.

Kozlova has given Radwanska a taste of her own medicine with some of these shots, not just trying to beat her with pace.
