BBC tennis correspondent at WimbledonWillis is unorthodox. Wonderfully eccentric his tennis, against the classic beauty of Federer. It's really a match that has everything.

Willis has won a grass-court tournament before - the Great Britain F14 Futures. Oh hello - what a shot, racing in to cut off Federer's drive, slipping, back to his feet, Roger at the net, Willis whipping up a top-spin lob - done the old champ like a Swiss kipper, and the crowd rise as if the championship was won. Roger closes out the game like an apologetic party-pooper, but the mood is alive.

Icelandic inspiration for Willis?published at 17:13 British Summer Time 29 June 2016

BBC Sport at WimbledonIt goes without saying that Marcus Willis is the rank outsider, with some bookmakers offering odds as short as 1-250 on a Roger Federer win. That's ONE pound for every £250 you lump on the 17-time Grand Slam champ.
Unsurprisingly, former Wimbledon semi-finalist Tim Henman and another ex-British number one Andrew Castle are not rushing to stick a fiver on a seismic SW19 shock.
"I'd be very surprised if he even got a set but hopefully he can serve well and extend a set to 4-4, 5-5 or 6-6," says Henman.
Castle adds: "I think this will be a step too far. But what's the worst can happen? If Iceland can beat England at football then maybe Marcus Willis can beat Roger Federer."

Andrew Castle
BBC Sport tennis commentatorThere will be no great panic about the rain for those playing on Centre Court, especially not for guys like Roger Federer.
His great concern might be 'who is this guy I'm playing?'
For Roger, he will take this match as seriously as he does every other contest as Marcus Willis is a man to be respected. Marcus is not going to be overawed by Centre Court, I hope.

17:10 BST 29 June 2016* Federer 2-0 Willis
Willis, with a leftie serve, into the net for a delightful slicing drop volley, but he's staring down his first break point here - slashing approach, in again, popping away the overhead for deuce. Raking forehand into the corner, a winner at Futures level, a simple return for Fed. Another break point - mmm, dreamy serve-volley from the world 772 - but he's in trouble again here. Fed on the backhand overhead, and that's the break taken...

Jonathan Jurejko
BBC Sport at WimbledonRoger Federer has only lost once to a bloke ranked outside the top 200. And that was two-time French Open champion Sergi Bruguera on the Spaniard's favoured clay surface in Barcelona 16 years ago.
So how does Marcus Willis - the world number 772 - approach his Centre Court debut against the great man?
"Smile, enjoy it and realise that whatever happens it will be over in a couple of hours. And just go for it," says former British number one Andrew Castle.
"Don't hold back at all. Serve wide and serve with penetration, play hard and don't be afraid to get into Federer's face. He's got to show he feels comfortable on that court."

BBC Sport at WimbledonThe brollies really bring out the full spectrum of Wimblefans.
A fair few blue-chip company jobs and heavy-duty golf specials, a smattering of official All England souvenirs, a few patriotic Union Jacks and some flimsy market stall cheapies.
And a free newspaper and crossed fingers for the unprepared.

Roars from the partisans around Centre as a Federer backhand hits the tape for 30-15. Hold on, that one's gone long, it's 30-30... Nope, too good from the seven-time Wimbledon champ, and now Willis must serve on Centre for the first time in his life.
