Ooooh it's a cagey affair on Centre Court.

Kei Nishikori and Julien Benneteau are still going with serve.

Benneteau, ranked 547 in the world, nabbed the first set with the only break of the match so far.

Former Wimbledon mixed doubles champion on BBC TV

One has a tendency when they don't have a lot of experience to back off, Sakkari must maintain that aggression. The margins are so small at this level.

  4. Dimitrov with a spectacular drop shotpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

In the last couple of games Simon's level has not changed - he has been at seven out of ten. Dimitrov has been an eight or nine for a set and a half, but in that last service game he was a five.

  6. Ferrer outpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

    Mahut 6-1 6-4 6-3 Ferrer

Bit of a shock over on Court 16.

Thirteenth seed David Ferrer, a two-time quarter-finalist here, has been unceremoniously dumped out of this year's men's singles by Nicolas Mahut of France in straight sets.

Spain's Ferrer had his serve broken seven times in this match.

Mahut, number 34 in the world, has never got past the third round of a Grand Slam before. He's now given himself the chance to do that this weekend. And he loves the grass court does our Nicolas.

Dimitrov has got variation to his game and is a good athlete. He has come in today pretty relaxed and people probably expected him to lose. But it is different when you are now a set and a break up. Simon has to be a bit more pro-active.

Court 18 may have been a controversially small stage for five-time champion Venus Williams, but there is a gladiatorial feel to the arena with fans looking down from on high.

It is also where the historic marathon match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut took place in 2010.

Williams saw off Maria Sakkari in the first set but now the Greek 25-year-old, ranked 115 in the world, is fighting back against the five-time champ.

    Benneteau 6-4 1-0 Nishikori

Julien Benneteau has grabbed the first set against fifth seed Kei Nishikori on Centre Court.

Could an upset be on the cards? C'est possible.

However, don't let Benneteau's lowly ranking fool you. The 34-year-old went to five sets against Roger Federer here at Wimbledon in 2012, and beat R-Fed in the Paris Masters in 2009.

Play has resumed on Centre Court, but neither player can find the breakthrough at the moment.

Fifth seed Kei Nishikori and world number 547 Julien Benneteau remain on serve.

  13. Keys through to third roundpublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 30 June 2016

Ninth seed American Madison Keys is through to the third round after winning the deciding set against Belgian Kirsten Flipkens, 6-4 4-6 6-3.

Keys made the quarter-finals here last year. Reckon she might be a decent contender again this year?

If it is raining on a grass court, there will not be many players keen to keep on playing.

Looks like this match on Court One will continue as the rain only lasted a few minutes...

    V Williams 7-5 Sakkari

    Tracy Austin
Former Wimbledon mixed doubles champion on BBC TV

The first couple of games Sakkari was a little overwhelmed, but she's looking very self-assured.

Just playing at Wimbledon must be overwhelming, but then looking across the court at a five-time champion...she's got to keep that out of her mind, just be focused on what she needs to do at this point.

I tell a lie, the roof ISN'T on it's way just at the moment.

It was only a short, sharp shower. The covers are being meticulously pulled back and we should be back underway shortly.

Play suspended on Centre Court for now. Assuming the roof is on its way, too.

    Dimitrov 6-3 Simon

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

Dimitrov has the serve, the athletic ability - it's there, but he just has to work out how to use it.

Simon looks like he's got better on his serve today, but it's definitely Dimitrov who has got off to the more aggressive start.

It's an impressive start and that's the tennis we know he's capable of.
