    Moore sticks a towel around her neck to keep warm as Svetlana Kuznetsova pops off court for a 'comfort break'. 

    She's also being warmed by the variety of ditties sang by her new fans, turning round to laugh with the crowd at one inspired effort. Focus now...

    Roger has been tentative and cautious in his movement this week, but the grass has been lush in the first week and that might be one of the reasons. But now it's 'go time' for him. He's not serving as well as he normally does and he's said himself he's not sure where his body is at but even though he's not played his best yet, he hasn't dropped a set.

    And after a bit of advantage-deuce action, Moore sees it out with a stonking forehand winner into the corner. Beautiful work from the world number 227.

    Serena Williams is in no mood for this contest to take any more twists and turns.

    Brutal serving and a lop-sided 40-0 scoreline before a third successive ace seals the win.

    The favourite marches on, but McHale forced her to check her stride at least.

    While the shadows are lengthening on a chilly Court Three, the odds on Tara Moore causing an almighty shock are shortening. The place might only be half full, but the shock seekers are making as much noise as a packed house. Not many Svetlana Kuznetzova fans here. (Unless they're keeping schtum.)

    Serena Williams clenches a fist and the Centre Court crowd let out a resigned sigh.

    The American has finally pummelled a break of serve out of Christina McHale, who fought manfully to keep it from her.

    Now, she has to try and pick the lock and steal the Williams serve back to avert defeat.

    And the partisan crowd go wild as Svetlana Kuznetsova slams a shot into the net and Moore breaks for a third time to move 4-1 up in the second.

    Quite the pocket rocket is Miss Moore.

    Serena at 15-30 up and poised. But a see-sawing point of fetch and scurry, whack and bash ends with her finally spewing a forehand over the baseline.

    Centre Court on its feet in appreciation for both players.

    We're seeing incredible resolve and mental toughness from McHale. It's not something we saw coming, but it's the second time she's pushed Serena this year. But this is a stage where Serena feels so comfortable, her home where she has had tremendous success.
