    *Raonic 7-6 6-4 2-3 Sock

Jack Sock, complete with bling bling gold chains around his neck, lets out a whoop and holler as he rescues another two break points against Milos Raonic.

The crowd get behind him when he nails a drop shot to hold. He goes 3-2 up.

The American still has a lot of work to do to recover, though.

As an aside, this match has had 79 unreturned serves. Whopper.

  2. Murray hails Djokovic's runpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

Andy Murray on Novak Djokovic's surprise defeat:

"When Sam Querrey is serving well he's very difficult to beat. The run Novak has had has been incredible but history suggests you can't win every match.

"There will be a match where you don't play your best and your opponent does. I imagine Sam served really well though.

"Rather than a surprise we should be celebrating what Djokovic's done because he's broken so many records and won 30 consecutive Grand Slam matches in a row which is incredible. It's probably been the best 12 months in tennis for years."

Paul Christie: Sock might lose this but he has possibly the best forehand I've seen on tour this year

Jonathan Lansana: Raonic is one of my favourite players of the moment, support him in this match with Sock.

    *Raonic 7-6 6-4 2-1 Sock

    Jonathan Overend
    Tennis commentator on BBC Two

It is admirable enthusiasm from Jack Sock, fighting hard, often playing his best tennis when his back is against the wall and that's all you can ask from a pro. Already in this third set he's faced four break points and saved them all.

  5. 'It's been worse for other players'published at 20:02 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

Andy Murray is talking to the press after beating John Millman in straight sets.

Asked about the roof not being closed during a day of rain, he said:

"It's an outdoor tournament so they need to try to play without the roof. It's frustrating to be on and off but it wasn't too bad. It's been a lot worse for other players.

"Some of the tennis I played has been very good. Today I had a tough 15 minute period at the end of the second set but came through it well and toughed it out to take the set."

Ah, here we go. Fist pumps on Centre Court.

Milos Raonic is sniffing a break at 0-40 but Jack Sock rides out the rocky waters to hold.

Nicely done by the American. We remain with serve in the third set.

    Radwanska 5-2 Siniakova

Third seed Agnieszka Radwanska was inches away from going out of Wimbledon in the second round against Ana Konjuh, before the Croatian teenager crumbled after an injury.

Radwanska looks back on song now. She's taken a 5-2 lead against Katerina Siniakova over on court three.

These guys have been waiting around a long time. When I looked at the schedule I thought 16:00 BST was a possibility. Players get nervous, it's no wonder they come out to a slow start.

  10. Game and second setpublished at 19:47 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

    Raonic 7-6 6-4 Sock

The screws are turning on Centre Court.

Jack Sock has his first break point of the match, but Milos Raonic is feeling particularly stingy tonight.

The Canadian serves two colossal aces to undo Sock's good work and takes a two set lead.

The argy-bargy over on court 9 is finally over.

The now non-retired Lleyton Hewitt and Jordan Thompson have beaten Nicolas Almagro and David Marreno in the doubles first round.

Eventually, they came through 6-7 (8-6) 6-4 19-17. Took them nearly four hours, mind.

We are still going with serve on Centre Court between Milos Raonic and Jack Sock, after Raonic took the first set in the tie break.

The Canadian has only dropped five points on his serve so far. Blimey.

  17. Watson given hefty finepublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

    Jonathan Jurejko

Imagine putting in a few days' graft and then having your pay packet slashed by almost a third. Heather Watson only has herself to blame.

The British number two has been fined $12,000 (£9,043) for jamming her racket into the lush Wimbledon grass during her first-round defeat by Annika Beck.

That's the tennis equivalent of scraping your keys down the bonnet of your boss's flashy new motor.

It is the second biggest fine in SW19 history. Italian Fabio Fognini was handed a record $20,000 (£15,702) penalty for behaving rather badly in 2014., external

Djokovic's defeat is completely shocking, obviously. Sam Querrey is someone that in America we've been concerned about his intensity at times, and whether he has the competitive juices to wrestle with the top players.

With Serena last year so close to the Slam, and Novak this year, we see how difficult it is to maintain that intensity for so long.

  20. Bouchard gonepublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 2 July 2016

    Cibulkova 6-4 6-3 Bouchard

She put in a stunning performance to beat British number one Johanna Konta in the second round but Eugenie Bouchard is now out of the ladies' singles.

She's gone down in straight sets against Eastbourne champion Dominika Cibulkova, who you may remember from earlier as the ball-sniffer.

    Seriously.
