Djokovic out
Sarah Williams: Wow. He's human after all. What an open draw and great chance for Murray now
Cameron Tucker: Unbelievable, unprecedented and undeniably #SamQuerrey, external's career highlight. #Wimbledon, external, you never fail to throw up a surprise.
Andrew Neill: Wow! I'm not sure bookies were even offering odds of Djok going out this early!!! Incredible stuff from Querrey. Just incredible!
Djokovic 6-7 (6-8) 1-6 6-3 6-7 (5-7)
Sam Querrey on BBC TV: "It's incredible, especially to do it here at Wimbledon. I'm so ecstatic, so happy. I think today I played the break points well. Every time he had a break point I was able to come up with a big serve. He came out and got the first four games, fortunately for me we had another rain delay and I got to regroup. I'm just taking it one round at a time, I'm not even sure who I'm playing next."
Millman 3-6 4-5 *Murray
Centre Court lets out a mini-groan as John Millman delays Andy Murray's march to the second set for at least a game more.
And then lets out a loud cheer as Novak Djokovic's biting of the dust is displayed on the electronic scoreboard at the change of ends.
Andy looks up from toweling down, but keeps blank features. Mum Judy lets a grin slide across her face though.
The Sport Guru: Sam Querrey downs Djokovic in the early rounds of Wimbledon. Unbelievable
Erin: and wow, Djokovic is out!
Jack Blackburn: Unbelievable. I just shouted "Oh. My. God." Djokovic being beaten in a final would have been a shock. This a cataclysm
*Millman 3-6 3-5 Murray
John Millman knocks Andy Murray back from a second set point with a brave deep forehand.
All this unfolding with Centre Court in blissful ignorance of the events on Court One and Novak Djokovic's demise...
Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-7 (5-7) Querrey
Wow.
Sam Querrey, ranked 28th, has knocked out defending champion and world number one Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon. In the third round.
Querrey had one match point remaining in the tie break and he watched in amazement as Djokovic shanked a forehand wide.
What a moment for the American.
Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 (4-6) Querrey*
This is huge.
Querrey loses one match point...One more to go.
*Millman 3-6 3-5 Murray
Andy Murray's forehand is finding its depth, kissing the baseline and forcing John Millman back towards the line judge's toes.
We are going to deuce.
Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 (4-5) Querrey
Sam Querrey tries to challenge Novak Djokovic's serve but he's wrong. 4-3 to the Serb.
But then the world number one goes long. 4-4.
And now he's hit into the net! 4-5.
*Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 (3-3) Querrey
At 3-2, it's another lengthy rally and Djokovic slams into the net. We're level in the tie-break.
I'm nervous. Are you nervous? I'm nervous.
Millman 3-6 3-5 *Murray
Andy Murray has had plenty of joy at the net, but he barged forward a little prematurely there. Millman whips the ball down the line for a winner and 30-15.
But the Murray serve is Swiss Army knife of a weapon. It comes with plenty of different attachments, all pretty vicious.
A rocket down the middle followed by a sidewinding kicker out wide snuffs out the whisper of danger.
Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 (3-1) Querrey
A wild, wild forehand from Sam Querrey sees Djokovic earn the first point.
And then another rogue shot on the backhand makes it 2-0. There were 21 shots in that rally. Decent.
Now Djokovic sprays a ball into the crowd. 2-1.
And Querrey is up to his old tricks again. Wide! 3-1.
Millman 3-6 3-4 *Murray
Breakthrough. This might be terminal for Millman in the second set.
Andy Murray's devilish lob splash-lands well inside the baseline on the 22nd shot of the opening rally for 0-15.
He comes to the net, shuts down the angles and opens up 15-30.
A wicked walloped return sends a second serve away for a winner and 30-40.
Break point. And it sticks as Millman fails to dig one off his toes. He would have needed a shovel for that it was staying so low.
*Djokovic 6-7 1-6 6-3 6-6 Querrey
Here we go. An hour later and defending champion Djokovic will serve to stay in the championship.
He races into a 40-0 lead and holds. The Serb is in the zone.
Tie-break...
Andrew McDermott: Millman looks like Peter Crouch and Lucas Leiva had a baby!
Jack Spearing: Managed to get two tickets for people's Sunday and can finally take my mum to Wimbledon!
Jeanna Skinner: John Millman is one part Guti one part Alan Smith (not the Arsenal one) & one part Peter Crouch. Come on Andy!
*Millman 3-6 3-3 Murray
More patient, percentage-based tennis from Andy Murray and that was a very impressive hold to love.
The points were built on his court position and the placement of the ball rather than gambled on all-or-nothing winners.
The last point wrapped up with an ace. So far his serve has been solid.
Millman 3-6 3-2 Murray*
Pat Cash
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 live
Murray's backhand is all over the place today. Some of them were going for shots that I don't think are on.
Millman 3-6 3-2 *Murray
Andy Murray sags his shoulders and shakes his head. The rallies are living and dying on his racquet. And it is a graveyard right now.
The Scot bunts a gimme of a backhand return wide across court before a wafty drop-shot floats harmlessly into the net.
Millman is making mistakes - notably a shocker of an overhead - but Murray is making more at the moment.
