Marcus Kirby: You can never write off this man. Tsonga is just a tank of a player. Five sets written all over this.

Cath: Come on Andy, can't take the stress.

Craig Corrigan: Tsonga is playing very well! Comeback on.

What I like now since he dropped his serve in a bad fashion at the beginning of the third set, Andy is trying his best to get the momentum again. He is much more positive. Andy likes a challenge.

This is the first moment in the grass court season when Murray has had real stress.

Nervous indeed, and a rebel yell as he hangs on to that serve. Two hours 40 minutes on the clock; having already witnessed one five-setter on Centre today, are we staring at the development of another?

It is the brute power but also the forehand cross-court into the Murray forehand from Tsonga that is causing Murray some serious issues.

Tsonga working that serve magnificently, and it's the muscular Frenchman on the charge. Eerily quiet around Centre, the patriots spooked by what they're watching, sick with nerves and fear and what if, what if...

Anna: It wouldn't be a Murray Wimbledon campaign without the British public being put through the mill at least once.

Jiten Chandarana: Murray is not using the slice on the backhand as much, so the ball is not staying low at Tsonga and he is able to swing.

Daniel Woods: Why does Murray keep putting his second serve into Tsonga's forehand?

    Murray/Tsonga winner in semi-final

Tomas Berdych, speaking to BBC Sport, after beating Lucas Pouille: "It was not an easy one. On paper it looks pretty straightforward, but he's been on a great run, and I had to work hard for that.

"I was trying to find my rhythm in the first set, which I did in the tie-break. Afterwards the result was pretty much straightforward. It's a really great feeling.

"I have to be really focused on just the next match and try to focus on my game and try to go through again. I don't have to be diplomatic, I don't have that power to choose, so let the better win. I think it's going to be a nice battle and I'm going to be ready for whoever comes through from that quarter-final.

"I said I hoped one day the experience from my first Wimbledon final I'd be able to use it at least once. I'm going to try to go for it again."

Right then - positive start needed here from Murray, but he's making errors again - double-fault, forehand tugged long, deuce. Better with the drop-shot, worse with a forehand wide, and now he's cussing and ranting and staring at his support crew again. Tsonga senses a chance here - marmalises a forehand return for break point. Big serve out wide to the backhand from Murray, at last some noise and energy from the crowd. More depth and angle on that forehand; hammering serve, escapes.

That was a great effort from Tsonga.

You could see him sizing things up after he let his concentration slip in second set.

He is playing the type of tennis that makes you hark back to that game against Federer.

Karl Thomas: This crowd has gone flat after the second set as if Murray has already won. They need to really get behind him now.

Andrew Priestley: Great mental strength from Tsonga to drag himself back into this match. Albeit with another couple of mountains to climb.

Lewis Wright: Okay Andy, you have got 48 minutes to take the fourth set and finish off this match.

Wonderful scampering fetching from Murray, but it's as naught compared to Tsonga's repeated battery of 130 mph-plus serves. Two set points. One gone to a forehand wide, banger of a serve down the middle, nails it...

Murray in trouble again, a set point coming up as Tsonga thrashes his monstrous forehands away. Better first serves save the day for now, but having not lost a set in the four rounds thus far Murray will now have to break Tsonga to keep that record intact.

Paul Christie: Classic example of why Murray has only won two Grand Slams. Not ruthless enough when he needs to be and lets Tsonga back into it.
