Just the one point against serve so far in this fourth set.

Milos Raonic holds to 15 and it feels like both men have signed a non-aggression pact until they reach the business end of things.

    Then?

    Unleash the hounds.

    *Raonic 6-3 6-7 (3-7) 4-6 1-1 Federer

Roger Federer is a perpetual motion machine, flitting from one side of the centre line to the other, firing down slick serves.

A hold to love in less than a minute.

Well, that is a solid statement of intent to open the fourth set.

Milos Raonic holds to love to remind Roger Federer and Centre Court not to get too giddy just yet.

This is what Federer was able to do against Cilic, where he was able to completely turn the match around. It's incredible, how it can turn on a sixpence - at 3-3 that double fault from Roanic - and there's a change in momentum.

  5. 'Federer arguably the greatest'published at 15:08

Raonic seems a bit surprised by a couple of things he has seen from Federer.

I have been fortunate enough to be on this court many times and it is a whole lot tougher when you are playing such a great player.

Federer is arguably the greatest player of all time and he is desperately trying to win another title. You can feel it everywhere.

Full steam ahead for the Fed Express.

One approach shot in that game almost drifted long, but a Hawk-Eye review shows it sniffed the line.

That was the closest he came to losing a point.

A hold to love and Milos Raonic needs to find a way to jam a spanner in the Swiss's spokes and fast.

Milos Raonic holds up his end of the bargain to keep this third set a live affair.

Roger Federer retreats back under his sun brolly to take a sip and contemplate what he needs to do to serve out for a two-one lead.

    The cogs are whirring.

    Here we go.

Roger Federer showed his street-fighting smarts to figure out and out-last Marin Cilic in the last eight.

He is looking similarly indestructible in this one.

A hold to love as the mojo in the match moves firmly into his court.

Seagul: That's it for Milos... He must be content that he was able to give Federer a hard time.

It shows you that when you play someone this good you have to keep your intensity up and you can't afford any slip-ups. That is the first time Raonic has lost his serve.

Milos Raonic cuffs down a seventh double fault to spark some murmurings in Centre Court and bring up 15-30.

Those murmurings turn to mild hysteria as Roger Federer whips a forehand pass across Raonic to cut off the big man mid-trundle to the net.

Raonic saves the first break point.

But frames a mongrel of a backhand long and wide to surrender the second!

I feel Roger is starting to get more of a read on these serves, he's getting more of them into play and that's putting pressure on Raonic.

Roger Federer rattles off a service game to love in a twinkle.

Milos Raonic's coach John McEnroe - calling the match for BBC One - is briefly distracted by a fan's T-shirt that merges his face with that of Heath Ledger's Joker.

    That would be distracting.

Thud. Another ace from Raonic - his fifth of the set.

Federer attempts a backhand slice and although it climbs the net, it falls just outside the lines.

The Canadian moves to 40-15 after Federer fails to get on the end of a thunderbolt serve.

And the sixth seed throws another ace down court to hold.

Roger Federer rolls away a forehand to seal the game. The match has come off the boil a touch.

It was absolutely bubbling hot in the first couple of sets.

    Raonic 6-3 6-7 (3-7) 2-1 *Federer

Milos Raonic hasn't mounted much of a challenge to this Roger Federer service game, failing to get into any rallies. But he has not had to.

But he is handed a free pass to deuce via a poor volley into the net, a inexplicable framed forehand long and a double fault.

Both guys have plenty of reasons to feel good about where they are at at this stage.

Federer was a bit stiff at the start and that cost him and Raonic took advantage, but Federer has willed himself back into the match.

Raonic battled hard to save those four set points in the second set but then blinked first and Federer was there.

  20. 'Raonic tense'published at 14:46 British Summer Time 8 July 2016

Raonic looks tense, he's speaking a lot, he probably knows he had a bit of a missed opportunity in that second set.
