Well, that's another huge forehand from the Ukrainian that Murray can't get anywhere near down the line, but again he can't build on it. The next shot is fired into the net and it's 30-30.

Smart serve and follow up from Marchenko, he looks very dangerous when he comes into the net and executes that forehand nicely.

The next is a little wayward, though, and Murray brings it back to 15-15.

    Murray* 7-5 1-2 Marchenko

Murray is giving himself a good talking to between points here. He certainly looks a little out of sorts, a bit flat at the moment.

Two unforced errors give Marchenko a 30-0 lead on his serve.

    Murray 7-5 1-2 Marchenko*

Marchenko breaks first again for the second set in a row.

He had Murray on the run throughout that game and despite the world number's one's best efforts he can't keep up with the pace of Marchenko as he sends him one side of the court and then the other.

The Ukrainian takes to the centre of the court as Murray scrambles a return, and then smashes a big forehand winner out of his reach.

We've waited a while, but there's the classic Murray drop shot. So much slice on that one it looked like it might spin back into the net - inevitably, Marchenko can't get enough on it to trouble Murray with a return.

But he does on the following point, Murray allows the big Ukrainian to set himself for a big forehand and he makes the Scot pay. 30-15.

    Murray 7-5 0-0 Marchenko

It's had that first match of the tournament feel from Andy Murray so far, but he's come through a tricky first set after being broken in his opening game and that might knock the stuffing out of Marchenko a little, who had looked confident and aggressive out there.

It's Murray to serve in the first game of the second set, and quickly establishes a 30-0 lead with two big serves.

    Murray 7-5 Marchenko

Let, fault...the pressure is really on Marchenko with this second serve and that shows as Murray is allowed to take control of the point and forces his opponent deep.

Marchenko attempts to dig one out from beneath his feet but sends it long, and that's the first set to the world number one.

Marchenko's up, then he's down. He plays a great shot, and then he misjudges the next.

Murray hasn't had to play particularly well in this game but now he has a break and a set point at 30-40.

    *Murray 6-5 Marchenko

Murray isn't impressed with his return again there as he almost pats it back over the net and then loops a forehand wide of the line.

But he steps into a Marchenko second serve to force his powerful opponent into a mistake and it's back level at 15-15.

    *Murray 6-5 Marchenko

Well, the world number one doesn't give too many chances away and having let Marchenko get back into that one he is in no mood to pass up another opportunity to win this game.

Make no mistake, the Ukrainian isn't making it easy for him though.

    Murray 5-5 Marchenko*

There's some serious power on show out there and again it's Marchenko who makes a move towards the net, but he can't quite control a passing Murray shot and the ball drops narrowly wide.

Murray has the chance to take the game, but he puts Marchenko's powerful return into the net.
