The players are out and having a bit of a hit, Zverev in luminous orange and white, Murray in black and white. Ivan Lendl is watching on, suitably stony faced, as the temperature cranks up towards 30 degrees.

  2. Head to headpublished at 03:44 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2017

This pair have met before, although never at a Grand Slam, with Murray registering a comfortable 6-2 6-2 victory on clay in Munich.

However Zverev has recorded his best Grand Slam performance to date, coming out on top of a five-set, four hour epic against John Isner along the way.

He's never beaten a world number one before but he did beat number three Stan Wawrinka in the quarter-finals at Basel in 2016.

  4. 'I've known my next opponent for 17 years'published at 03:38 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2017

Here's Mischa Zverev in Andy Murray's own words:

"Next up is Mischa Zverev. We've known each other since we were 12 years old, so for 17 years. We're the same age and we grew up playing against each other in the juniors.

He's a very quiet guy, and very calm on the court. He plays serve-volley tennis which you don't see a lot nowadays and he's improved so much over the last few months.

"His brother, Alex, is one of the best players in the world right now and they train together all the time.

"Their parents coached them so whenever I was playing with Mischa, when Alex was only tiny he would be on the side of the court with a racket in his hand."

Ey up, welcome to the live text commentary of Andy Murray's fourth round match against Mischa Zverev.

Standing in his way is world number 50 Mischa Zverev, looking to go one better than his brother Alexander who narrowly lost a ridiculously good five-set clash with Rafael Nadal yesterday.

There's commentary of Murray's match on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra, followed by Britain's Dan Evans and his match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
