  1. 'A long way back'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 7 April 2017

Jamie Murray speaking on BBC Two:

"Kyle did well to get back into that set. He really had to hang in and the tie-break was very unfortunate.

"He came up a little bit short. It will be a long way back from here.

"There hasn't been a lot of defence. Lucas Pouille has a slightly better serve than Kyle which as held up better in big moments.

"I think Kyle can come back though. He has to believe and keep his energy levels up."

Pouille's drop shots have been excellent so far and he unfurls another one that Edmund slides to, but he can't meet it.

That's excellent too from Pouille, on one leg and smashing his backhand beyond Edmund. Which way is this going?

    Edmund 5-7 6-5 Pouille*

Edmund has the upper hand on a rally but then, out of nowhere, Pouille unfurls a backhand that throws Edmund off guard. He's so agile and in the end it's Edmund who sends the return out.

He finds his feet with a couple of nice serves before tidying up the game with a serve that Pouille sends into the crowd. Another good hold for the Brit.

  20. Stats you need to knowpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 7 April 2017

    Edmund 5-7 2-3 Pouille*

Kyle Edmund might be behind on the scoreline but he's dominating in some areas of the court.

Lucas Pouille has only won 23% of his second serves to Edmund's 50% and has also conceded more unforced errors than the Brit.

But it's the Frenchman's backhand which has been the difference so far - four winners compared to just one from Edmund.
