The first match point is saved, Murray hitting from the baseline and netting, before letting out a word I can't repeat as another serve goes awry.

Murray 6-3 6-2 5-2 Brown*
Two of the officials yodel out "fault!" as a Murray serve hits the net, and he's looking less than impressed a second later when a drop shot goes wonky.
That's better, though - a body serve that Brown can't swing his arms into, and the forehand sails long.
He's on top of this rally, almost toying with Brown, sending him this way and that before the German makes a meal of return a drop shot. Three match points come flying up.

*Murray 6-3 6-2 5-2 Brown
Brown leaps at the net like a salmon out of water and pings over a backhand winner.
In fact, the German is in cruise control in this set, outmuscling Murray with a forehand, and he gets a cheer from the crowd as he holds.
It'll be Muzza to serve for the match.

Vinod: Disappointing performance by Dustin Brown but solid play by Andy Murray - turns out to be a one sided match!
Jeanna Skinner: I love watching Dustin Brown, but I wish he had more of a killer instinct rather than playing like it's the invitational doubles.
Murray 6-3 6-2 5-1 Brown*
"Towel!" barks Murray as two double faults cost him. Oops, and now again! A little lapse of concentration from Murray takes us to 15-30.
He puts his annoyance into a corker of a forehand winner, battered back from wide of the court, and a Brown backhand into the net means the defending champ is just a game away from the third round.
Wang 6-4 4-6 V.Williams
Never, ever disregard Venus Williams.
The 37-year-old has bounced back from losing four games in a row and the first set, to breaking back against against Qiang Wang of China to take the second set on Court One.
To a decider we go. Follow the action here.

Brown has tapped out, because of the quality of the way Murray has playing.
It looks like Brown is playing even faster than he was at the beginning, if that's possible. His legs have gone, he can't move to the ball.
*Murray 6-3 6-2 4-1 Brown
Dustin Brown's backhand isn't going to plan from on the baseline, but he gets one over on Murray with a cheeky drop shot.
Murray is still limping about a bit but I'm now convinced it's just the way he walks. He breaks again with ease.
Murray 6-3 6-2 3-1 Brown*
Andy Murray has made just one enforced error so far. A fine, fine performance.
Brown, his half on the court mostly in shade, hammers in a forehand and tosses his dreadlocks over his shoulder as it goes long. Game, Murray.

The less time Brown has to think on the ball, the better a player he becomes. He is a top 20 player but when he thinks about it he becomes a 200 player.
*Murray 6-3 6-2 2-1 Brown
Murray raises his hand in apology as a littel nick of the net wrong foots Brown, allowing the Brit to break.
He'll take it, though.

Joanna Gill from Scotland and her friend Lauren Barr from the States are seeing who they can spot out and about.
Rafael Nadal jogged through the crowds earlier and onto Aorangi Park, much to the excitement of everyone around.
But it's Andy Murray that Joanna and Lauren are here for. They haven't got tickets for Centre Court, but they're decked out with their face paint and will be watching with the masses on Murray Mound.
Murray 6-3 6-2 1-1 Brown*
Up to the net comes Brown, steadying himself before watching a lovely backhand go racing beyond him.
Stand and deliver stuff from Murray now. He looks so good on his serve and whenever Brown comes running forward, Murray just leans back and creams a winner past him.
Wang 6-4- 3-3 V.Williams*
Venus Williams holds to love but then Qiang Wang responds with a comfortable hold, too, as the second set continues to go with serve on Court One.
The tenth seed needs a break from somewhere if she wants to recover.

This is the first time in a while you have watched Murray and thought this is the number one seed. He was a tie-break away from being in the final of the French Open, you see the momentum shifting. Murray's dominated this guy, he's been pretty dangerous and Brown actually hasn't played that badly.
*Murray 6-3 6-2 0-1 Brown
The fourth double fault from Brown, who is in a hurry to get this service game done with.
He makes an unbelievable stretch to return a little drop shot from Murray, looking like one of those Plasticine toys as his arm hoicks over a winner. A hold to start the third set.
Murray 6-3 6-2 Brown*
Murray's in the yellow...

Chanice Hird: Very impressive first set statistics. Andy only ever improves as the match goes on and he's opened very strong.
Johan Donders: Watching @DreddyTennis, external with absolute awe. Everyone might be backing Murray but Dustin is bringing something great!
Nathan Smith: With Pouille losing (one set down at the moment), Murray won't have to play any top 20 player before at least the quarter-finals.
Murray 6-3 6-2 Brown
And he needs just one of those set points!
Murray guzzles down a bottle of water. He's just a game away from a venture into the third round.
