Konta struggled on her second serve in that second set, her win % on the reload dropping to only 50%. Luckily she didn't need it much in that opening game of the decider...

Andy Murray is trying to dictate the points early on - which is the right thing to do - but you are bound to make a couple more unforced errors.

    Murray 2-3 Paire

Murray is furious, wither with himself or his opponent, I'm not so sure. Shouting into the Centre Court air as he mops his brow with a towel. Paire's movement and speed around the court causing grief.

Can he keep this intensity up? That's the kicker.

    Murray 2-3 Paire

'Backwards movement!' Andy Murray screams at himself after he can only find the net and he is soon facing three more break points after more good work from Benoit Paire. This is a test.

    A real test.

Murray still muttering to himself as he serves at 0-40, a hole to excavate himself from. Two big serves do the job first up, 30-40, but Paire is always on the move and forces Murray into coughing into the net.

  7. Murray breaks backpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 10 July 2017

    *Murray 2-2 Paire

Murray appears to be pressured by Paire whenever the Frenchman comes to the net - 15-0.

But Paire, soon to be nicknamed The Dropshot, performs another which this time Murray picks up superbly after putting on the afterburners.

The Frenchman tries another but this finds the net - all of a sudden it's two break points for Murray.

Paire saves the first but can't repeat the trick as he finds the net.

    Break back.

It was errors on Jo Konta's first serve that cost her so dearly in that second set, as you can see here...

    Konta 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 Garcia

    Jonathan Jurejko
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Smiles have returned around the stands. Can Johanna Konta dig herself completely out of this hole? "She can do this!" reckons one woman as she strokes her daughter's hair.

Ah. That optimism quickly disappeared. Time for a stretch of the legs for many. Be quick...

    *Konta 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 Garcia

Garcia sends down two big serves to open up a 30-0 lead and then Konta fails to return a big kicking second serve.

The Frenchwoman then takes the game and the set with a deft volley at the net.

A composed performance to take us into a decider.

    Murray 1-2 Paire*

That is some backhand. That is Benoit Paire's special move on the joypad.

A great return and fruitful approach to the net brings up two break points for the Frenchman.

Murray saves the first as his opponent finds the net, but the British number one can do nothing as Paire's unleashes a brilliant drop volley at the net.

    The Brit is broken.

    Konta 7-6 (7-3) 4-5 Garcia*

Garcia's backhand is in good touch as she shows off a spinny winner, but her forehand is a little less accurate.

A couple of overhits allow Konta to race to a 40-15 lead, but a fine tonk from Garcia snaffles another point.

Down on one knee goes Garcia, and into the net goes the ball! Pressure back on the French player to serve this set out...

... well, almost all of them actually. The former world number one Victoria Azarenka has made a strong start against Simona Halep, who is potentially the next number one of course.

Not many people here to see it at the moment, although I'd imagine a fair few are just taking a short break after that epic Muguruza-Kerber match.

    Murray 1-1 Paire*

Paire - whose look is very reminiscent of an English king, perhaps George V - is finding it hard to get over the line here.

    It's gone advantage-deuce umpteen times.

He finally wins his first service game and remains on his throne.

  16. Konta gets a break backpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 10 July 2017

    *Konta 7-6 (7-3) 3-5 Garcia

Some crackerjack shots from both players from deep inside the court, before Garcia switches things up with a drop shot - and Konta makes it to tap a little winner back over!

Good pressure this from Konta, bringing up two break points, but Garcia saves the first as a Konta backhand lash finds the net.

She can't save the second though, a lovely winner right on the line from Konta, and the crowd on Court One makes an almighty noise!

    *Murray 1-0 Paire

Paire wins his first point of the match with an ace - to level at 15-15.

He then serves another. Former French great Henri Leconte, watching on, would have been impressed.

An error with his forehand and a superb backhand return from Murray which forces another mistake by the Frenchman hands the world number one break point.

However, the man from Avignon keeps his cool to save.

    We're at deuce....

Konta Knoll is definitely Murray Mound now. They've flicked the channel. The sun-soaked fans outside Court One whoop and holler as Garcia bounces the ball to serve. That's tell us inside that Murray is kicking off.

If you're gonna attempt to coach from the box, surely you'd try to be a bit more subtle?! The TV cameras have picked what looks like signals up twice...

A good hold from Garcia, an overworked forehand the only error, which means Garcia will serve for the set.

Paire goes for an early challenge - the second point of the match. Keen eh?

It's called out, and it was out.

Murray wins his first service game to love with an ace. Easy start.
