Dimitrov 4-6 Federer
Just like that. The great one flies through his service game and takes the first set.

It comes down to shot selection. Every now and again you're going to get into a rally where the 18th shot you play is as important as the first. Two poor forehands in a row and before you know you're sitting in your chair and the greatest player there's ever been is a break up.
Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 1-1 Muller*
I mean, talk about a bad omen...
Dimitrov 4-5 Federer
Nothing wrong with Old Man Federer's eyes, as he calls for a review on a Dimitrov approach which was millimetres out.
Dimitrov then follows it in with a cracking pass, 30-30 on the Dimitrov serve. Good match already, both players finding their grooves.
Federer whoops as he brings up a break point, poor shot in honesty from Dimi, but he rescues it with a booming ace out wide.
A second break point donated via double fault, saved again. But then a third break-point arrives as Dimitrov fires narrowly wide. Small margins.
LONG. Break...
Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 1-1 Muller*
Nadal is on his knees after charging around in a rally. There were some brilliant shots on show there, Nadal backpedalling to meet a smash, and the fourth seed ends up clutching his right ankle as he wobbles trying to reach a Muller winner.
Parity is restored with a big serve from Rafa and there's the tiniest hint of a limp as he wanders around between points.
Having said that, that could just be the way he walks. Back to back aces, and that's game, Nadal.
Here's how things will line up tomorrow on Centre Court.

*Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 0-1 Muller
Nearly all of Court One is on Nadal's side here, you sense, given the cheers that go up whenever he wins a point.
Muller's completely bothered by that. He pushes his serve out wide again, twice foxing Nadal, before a fine winner smacked from full stretch at the net ensures the Luxembourg man starts this fourth set with a hold.
Dimitrov 4-4 Federer

Great conditions. The heat has dropped. This is the perfect time to play here on Centre Court at 5.30ish. The second Monday is a unique day.

Theo Bowyer: Have always wanted to watch Federer play himself... now we can - Fed vs Baby Fed. One of the most aesthetic matches this Wimbledon
Jan Dekker: How often does happen. I look in on a game where an upset looks on (Nadal) and momentum abruptly shifts.
Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-3 Muller
The first set point is saved courtesy of Nadal's first double fault of the match, and then a backpedalling Nadal goes for the big winner - and nets!
The crowd crank up the volume a touch. Nadal takes a breath, serves - and roars up to the crowd as he takes the third set!
Nadal 3-6 4-6 5-3 Muller*
Nadal rattles down his 10th and 11th aces of the match, before a flick down the line from Muller goes awry.
Three set points for Nadal...
Dimitrov 4-3 Federer
Sometimes words don't really do a clip justice.
There's more than a hint of autotune about this but watch Federer and Co belt out some classic Chicago...

In the real world we stay on serve, Dimitrov holding with a classy conversion at the net.

It feels that in the last 15 or 20 minutes the overall flow and momentum of the match has turned in Nadal's favour.
Although we admire how Muller has played the match so far, you have to also admire how Nadal regroups, manages his energy, his competitive spirit and how he gees himself up in what would be an easy opportunity to give up.
*Nadal 3-6 4-6 5-3 Muller
A swinging serve from Muller - gaining the sort of movement Jimmy Anderson would be proud of if he had a cricket ball in his hand - brings up the advantage.
And down comes another ace from Muller! Nadal will have to serve for the set.
*Nadal 3-6 4-6 5-2 Muller
Serve and volley from Muller gets him on the board, but his fifth double fault of the match takes us to 15-15.
He's just lost a touch of confidence but a wonderful two-handed passing forehand, angled nicely, leaves Nadal gesturing in frustration.
Neither player is giving anything away, but a return from Muller sits up nicely and Nadal leathers the ball beyond him for deuce.
Dimitrov 3-2 Federer
Lovely shot! Federer meets the ball on the bounce to effortlessly crunch a backhand winner down the line. A shot so aesthetically good you could frame it and hang it in your hall next to an Ian Bell cover drive and a Dimitar Berbatov first touch.
I haven't seen Roger play at Wimbledon yet. I'd forgotten how good he can be.
Dimitrov isn't bad either though, holding his serve easily with a shot up the line.
Nadal 3-6 4-6 5-2 Muller*
Nadal goes through his usual pre-serve routine - bounce the ball, pulling at the shirt, touching his nose, pushing his hair behind his ears - before smacking down consecutive big serves.
In fact, that's four big serves in a row! All of them just kissed the line and Muller looks thoroughly unimpressed with himself. Nadal's clawed his way back into this admirably, and he's a game away from taking the third set.
