It was a crisis game for Ramos-Vinolas and he became more aggressive. It's an interesting chess game going on. It's a good performance from Broady.

This is the view from the press seats at the Puente Romano Tennis Club with Albert Ramos-Vinolas somewhere down there in the shadow of the palm trees.
It’s actually a very atmospheric venue with the two giant grandstands rising up either side of the sunken court to give the arena a real Colosseum feel.
And the battle lines are very clearly drawn in the stands between the Spanish red and yellow and Britain’s red, white and blue with the vaguely comic choruses of chanting rushed in between each point to encourage the players.

More good work from Liam Broady up at the net gets him on the board, before successive smashes leave his opponent stranded at the back of the court.
