Another superb rally, both players going full, and it's Bautista Agut who can't help but overcook a forehand.

Down the line from Norrie - and Bautista Agut thwacks a forehand into the net! Norrie holds!

Ace number eight comes whizzing off Cameron Norrie's racquet, as casual as you like.

Norrie comes charging into the net, Bautista Agut stranded out wide, but the ball hits the top of teh racquet and goes into the net! As you were.

Long goes Bautista Agut's forehand, but Norrie can't make it count as he gets pushed out of a tremendous rally.

    Deuce.

Whippy forehand meets whippy forehand, and it's Cam Norrie who blinks first as he's sent to his left and Bautista Agut batters a winner to his right.

That takes us to 30-30, but Norrie is back in front as the Spaniard nets his volley.

Oh, but Norrie overcooks his own volley, the ball just spinning out of bounds. Deuce!

A fantastic, aggressive return of serve from Cameron Norrie, firing a forehand down the line, and we're at 30-30.

That's long on the forehand from the Brit though, and Bautista Agut holds.

There's lots of raised eyebrows and shaking of heads amongst the journalists in the media centre here in Marbella and certainly no "I told you sos" because I don't think anyone really saw this coming.

Into a fifth set and the Daily Mail's tennis correspondent Mike Dickson tells me that Cameron Norrie has never even played beyond a third set before in his fledgling professional career.

He seems absolutely inspired by the occasion and he looks like he's really enjoying himself out there despite the pressure of it all. Bautista Agut just looks a little bit shell-shocked at the moment.

Norrie races to 30-0 thanks to an ace and a dreadful forehand miss from his opponent, but the Brit gets tight and coughs up a double fault.

Again, Bautista Agut nets a simple forehand, and Norrie shouts "come on!" as the Spaniard's backhand drifts lazily long.

    He holds.

I'll be honest, an hour ago I was eyeing up what takeaway I was going to get on my way home.

    Exceptional work from the Brit.

I almost can't believe I'm watching. The quality of his tennis... he's been the dominant player with two and a half sets. He's been dictating and taking the play to his opponent. Bautista Agut is mentlaly frozed a bit, he's shell-shocked.

The errors are coming worryingly quickly off Roberto Bautista Agut's record, as a simple forehand is steered wide.

A whip from behind the baseline is planted into the net, but Bautista slices a backhand and plants home the smash for 30-30.

Eurgh, that's a horrid miss from the Spaniard with the forehand! Break point for GB.

From 15-40, he claws his way back in and thrashes a winner that sends Bautista Agut sprawling. Brilliant stuff from the Brit.
