S Williams 7-5 4-3 Rus*
A terrific, thudding forehand from Serena lands smack on the baseline to get her on the board for 15-15.

As tennis players and champions, it is a long term goal to win Wimbledon. 10-15 years maybe. So this kind of thing is a blink of an eye for Serena. You have your long term goal and set shorter ones every day. As impatient as we are, we are very patient with that.
There are some cracking matches on at the minute, particularly the battle between Stan Wawrinka and Grigor Dimitrov on Centre Court.

Incredible.
Swan is into the second round of a Grand Slam for the first time.
She sealed victory by breaking Begu’s serve again.
The Briton ran over to her nearest and dearest sat in the corner of Court 14 after that relatively straightforward win.
Your reward Katie?
Love Island. And the Wimbledon second round.

Hello. That'll be a 114mph ace from Serena Williams to get her serve game under way.
A move forward from Serena and a whippy forehand taker her to a 40-15, although the American still raises her hands in the air, wondering why she can't do that more often.
Ace #5 puts Serena in front for the first time in a while.
Swan 6-2 6-2 Begu
Here's how the 19-year-old did it. Some form off that first serve for Katie Swan...
*S Williams 7-5 3-3 Rus
Rus can't save the second, though!
She aims for the tramlines with her forehand, and misses.
Back on serve we go.
S Williams 7-5 2-3 Rus*
Great body serve from Arantxa Rus - she's been so impressive on that serve today - and she saves the first break point.
S Williams 7-5 2-3 Rus*
Arantxa Rus gets on the board at 15-30, thanks to a kindly intervention from the net cord.
That's a fine, fiery return from Serena, though, and the American has two break back points to her name.

S Williams 7-5 2-3 Rus*
This is quickly going away from Serena Williams.
She nails a backhand winner for the first time in a while at 15-30 down, before a first serve overpowers Rus and it's all level.
Serena rattles through the last two points, though, to end the points drought.
Swan 6-2 6-2 Begu
Katie Swan has looked wonderfully composed and confident in her opening-round meeting with Irina-Camelia Begu.
The world number 204 slaps a stinging backhand Begu's way and the Romanian can't handle it, that's two match points for the 19-year-old.
Begu saves the first, but Swan takes the second. Magnificent!

Rus has been holding here own, playing the conditions as they are, not overrun by the situations. No nerves playing against Serena.
*S Williams 7-5 1-3 Rus
Long goes Serena's forehand, and Arantxa Rus consolidates her break.
S Williams 7-5 1-2 Rus*
Ooh! Court One gasps in unison as Serena overbalances and ends up doing the splits as the ball passes past her.
She touches at her ankle before getting to her feet, but it's soon 40-0 to Arantxa Rus.
That's an astonishing rally, though, Serena thrashing the ball into both corners before coming forward and, somehow, picking up a return from her toes. Rus gets the return over and Williams, running backwards, overheads a winner.
40-15.

Moonraker: Katie Swan is heading for the 2nd round. I hope I'm not jinxing her here but she's totally dominating against Begu

I’ve found a new view. Sadly it now means I’m closer to the unforgiving Wimbledon sun.
Down below GB teen Swan seemingly doesn’t care a jot about the heat.
She breaks her opponent to go 4-2 up. Before holding.

Roger Federer, who knows a thing or two about managing his body and workload well into his 30s, also had some words of encouragement for Andy Murray.
"I think most important is if he does return, he's fully fit, because then anything is possible, especially for a former top guy," says the Swiss great.
"You have it. You don't forget how to play tennis. It's like riding a bike your brushing your teeth. It's not like you're going to all of a sudden rock up and forget about it all."I'm hopeful to see a fully fit Andy Murray again. That's what I care about really as a fellow rival, friend, guy around who has been there before. That's what I'm hopeful for."
