Is this going to be the biggest shock of this year's Wimbledon?

Sir Bobby Charlton has not moved out of his Royal Box seat.

The 1966 hero has 10 minutes to turn this around.

It looks like De Minaur is more comfortable, the nerves have settled down. He knows Nadal is better than him, so he is concentrating on his own game, playing tennis and enjoying the moment. He is doing well.

    Nadal 6-1 6-2 1-1 De Minaur*

Alex de Minaur lets out successive "come on" cries as Rafael Nadal drags a forehand wide, but the Australian find himself back-tracking to reach a lob.

He gets there. Simple winner for Nadal? No! The second seed fires long. Slightest inkling of a chance for De Minaur at 0-30...

Nadal cranks through the gears to scramble back to 30-30 with a fist pump and a stare. He's angry...

Fantastic point! Nadal thinks he's won it on three or four occasions, but De Minaur just gets to everything and it's a close-range exchange like they're knocking around in the garden. Eventually Nadal takes it.

The drama continues over on Court One.

    Third set. Here we go.

What have you got, Alex de Minaur? An array of fine groundstrokes, that's what - enough to out play world number one Rafael Nadal in the first point of the set.

There' a thumping serve in the Aussie's locker, too. His fifth ace of the day.

    A good hold.

    *Halep 6-3 4-6 2-0 Hsieh

Wow - these two are putting on a show on Court One.

They send each other scampering into the net, before Hsieh hooks the ball to the baseline.

Halep chases, and she makes it in time before sending over a no-look flick of the wrist. But it falls outside the lines! She looks gutted after all that running.

No drama, though. Halep composes herself and manages to break for a 2-0 lead.

This is the next generation we are watching in De Minaur, this is an inauguration it to who we'll be watching for the next 10-12 years. That his the type of young man he is, that is the determination he brings. He's only 19 and looks even younger

    Djokovic v Edmund

    Jonathan Jurejko
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Kyle Edmund may have played in an Australian Open semi-final, but this is different.

This is Wimbledon. This is Centre Court. And this is the British number one, at Wimbledon playing a 12-time Grand Slam champion.

"I think he still believes reaching the semi-finals in Melbourne is the biggest match of his career," his coach Fredrik Rosengren told BBC Sport yesterday.

"But to play one of the best guys ever, on the most famous court, on home soil and in front of his home crowd, in my opinion it can’t be bigger than that.

"It is a huge match of course and at the same time you have to find a balance, not being too excited and try to play to win.

"It is not an easy thing to handle."

    Nadal 6-1 6-2 0-0 De Minaur*

First chance for Alex de Minaur on the Nadal serve.

It's wiped out with a postage stamp winner from the Spaniard, hitting the corner with pace and depth.

But the two-time champ then pumps long from a similar spot. Chance number two for De Minaur. Saved, and this time Nadal makes no mistake to close out for the second set.

Fair play, that's how you do it.

Hsieh Su-wei has just held to love to take the second set against the world number one.

It's the first time Halep has been taken to a decider at the Championships.

Surely we're not going to lose another seed from the women's draw?

A little slice-off between the pair on Centre Court, and it's a battle Alex de Minaur wins as Rafael Nadal frames one towards the Royal Box... plenty of sports stars on hand to catch it, no doubt.

Oh my, magic! De Minaur think he's got the Spaniard beaten, only to see a 'tweener soaring back his way as Nadal effortlessly slaps one between his legs.

But the world number one suddenly finds himself a break point down...

Well, it's the big talking point in the BBC Sport office here on Centre Court.

At 2:10pm, he is still sat in the Royal Box, intently watching a king.

That's Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay, on his less favoured surface. The second seed is already set up if you're interested, follow here.

    *Nadal 6-1 5-2 De Minaur

De Minaur is yet to beat a top-20 player in his six attempts. He's probably not going to end that streak on Centre Court today.

For the first time, the Australian's confidence looks a tad dented as he rattles down two double faults.

Nadal eases to the double break.

I don't see a dangerous weapon in De Minaur's game. His strength is he is an all court player, good on all surfaces but nothing is unbelievably good.
