That gets Centre Court clapping, magnificent passing winner from Alex de Minaur. He's throwing the kitchen sink at Rafa Nadal...

The Spaniard's racking up unforced errors, too. Six for the day, before a steaming overhead to bat away a high ball.

    Nadal comes through unscathed.

Hseih Su-wei is banging her racquet against her head.

"They're showing the golf!!" shouts one fan on Henman Hill pointing up at the big screen. He's got a point but I think it might have been an advert or something.

Nick Holt from Bolton will be heading out of the All England Club to watch the football in a local pub: "They could have created a football area."

His mate agrees, adding: "They will lose a lot of revenue on beer for two hours. It's a year of sport, how can you not show the football match somewhere, even if it is cordoned off somewhere."

    *Del Potro 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 3-3 Paire

An outrageous floated backhand from Benoit Paire, the Frenchman almost bent double as he returns the ball, puts him 30-15 ahead.

This is just daft. Paire double faults for the second time, follows it up with an ace for 40-30, then hits a clean winner to draw proceedings level.

    *Nadal 3-1 De Minaur

This game edges towards the 10-minute mark, and finally Alex de Minaur has a chance to close out.

Rafa Nadal decides otherwise, getting the Australian on the run - he just won't stop running, serious energy, but even the teenager's motoring legs won't reach that Nadal slice.

A fifth break point opportunity. And this time Nadal takes it!

Nadal is using the backhand slice a lot today. he would have spoken to his team about strategy. That means they are taking De Minaur seriously.

    Nadal 2-1 De Minaur*

De Minaur slaps a forehand long after a tidy exchange - the Centre Court crowd are being treated to some eye-catching tennis early on.

Another break point chance for Nadal, another saved by the Australian. Nadal hammers a mammoth backhand down, third chance to break...

Another scrambling save by De Minaur. The world number one opts for slice to try and get around the energetic teenager, fourth time lucky?

    Fourth saved. Well...

Milos Raonic is closing in on the fourth round after resuming his match against Dennis Novak, which was halted by bad light yesterday.

The Canadian 13th seed broke immediately on the resumption this afternoon to take the third set and a two sets to one lead. He is now 4-1 up in the fourth set against the Austrian on court 12.

  10. Paire breaks backpublished at 13:38 British Summer Time 7 July 2018

    Del Potro 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 3-2 Paire*

After all that ranting, Benoit Paire has gone back into serene mode.

He gets to 0-40 on the Juan Martin del Potro serve and now it's Del Potro's turn to furiously swipe a ball into the crowd as he's broken to get things back on serve.

    Nadal 2-1 De Minaur*

    Just too good.

Rafa get his eye in with some deep, punchy groundstrokes before wrapping a left-hander beyond the young Australian and following it up with a superb passing winner as Alex de Minaur approaches the net.

Nadal yanks a forehand into the gutter as the world number 80 scrambles back, only to find a second serve coming back at him with interest - break point Nadal.

Saved, with a big "come on" to boot!

    We have a hold!

Simona Halep races into a 40-0 lead and although she's pushed to deuce by her Taiwanese opponent, the world number one stands her ground to take a 4-2 lead.

It looks like she's found her groove now on Court One.

    *Del Potro 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 3-1 Paire

Benoit Paire spends the brief sit-down period speaking to the supervisor about the chair umpire who, we think, he wants removed.

His coach looks highly unimpressed. Still, Paire's on the board, thanks to a missed forehand volley from Del Potro.

Surely Sir Bobby Charlton isn't going to miss the match. Is he?!

The England 1966 hero is one of the star sporting guests in the Wimbledon Royal Box today - if I see him sloping out of his seat at 2.55pm then I'll let you know.

Or maybe he's just happy to miss it for the tennis because he's wondering what all the fuss is about.

I mean, it's only a World Cup quarter-final. Sir Bobby only deals in World Cup finals. And he wins them.

    This match has gone weird.

Juan Martin del Potro has a 40-15 lead on his own serve. He coughs up three double faults and misses an easy forehand, before eventually managing to hold after Benoit Paire misses his own low forehand.

    Del Potro is not happy.

    *Nadal 1-1 De Minaur

A few nerves in Alex de Minaur's opening service game, as he throws in an early double fault.

The 19-year-old engages Nadal on the next point, drawing the second seed side to side before sizzling down a backhand winner.

    Nice stuff from the Australian.

On Henman Hill fans are predicting a mass exodus at 3pm...

'I'm going to leave to watch the football," says Jonny, while the people sitting next to him having a picnic shout: "So are we!"

"It's disappointing they are not showing it here. They could have put in on in at least one bar. We've spent quite a lot of money on tickets but we are going to miss quite a chunk of the day.

"We were really hoping England would have played yesterday."

    Nadal 1-0 De Minaur*

The youngster is on the offensive from the start, scuttling into the net to attack Rafael Nadal.

But Alex de Minaur find himself back-pedalling after a deft lob from the Spaniard, and Nadal polishes the point off at the net.

Good hustle from the 19-year-old, but Rafa comes through.
