There are a few more unforced errors creeping into Federer's game in the second set. It would have been hard to keep up the level he set in the first set but come on Roger, we expect perfection!

    *Federer 6-2 2-3 Anderson

"Come on," shouts Fed. That's a rarity... the Swiss means business, and knows he's in a match on Court One.

He flops a backhand long to make it 30-30 on his serve, and now another break point for Kevin Anderson.

Here's how Federer took the first set...

    Djokovic 6-3 1-1 Nishikori*

    John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

Djokovic has been excellent when he has moved inside from the baseline.

Nishikori hasn't won a single point at the net and doesn't look in hurry to get there either.

    Djokovic 6-3 1-1 Nishikori*

Kei Nishikori is looking bedraggled at times here. His elbow is held together but tape and he takes an age between points, dragging his toes along the baseline.

Every now and again he burst into life but not in this game. Djokovic holds in a flash.

Novak Djokovic is not happy. He slaps his thighs has a backhand sails long. He had plenty of opportunities to break there but misses out.

    Federer 6-2 1-3 Anderson*

Magnificent from Roger Federer. He's made to run, but dashes across court to meet a forehand with serious venom.

A double fault from Kevin Anderson gives Federer a sniff at 15-30, and the most outrageous backhand, lobbed winner as the Swiss sprints back towards his own baseline, and slips mid-swing, gives him two break points... that was something else!

Ouch. That's gotta hurt. Nishikori dumps a forehand drop shot into the net from inside the service box. He knew the moment he hit it and looked to the ground in disgust.

    Break point Djokovic.

This game has been going on 10 minutes.

Grass court tennis is very different to any other tennis because you only need one break of serve to run away with it. On grass you get so much more confident because the return game becomes easier and then you only have to concentrate on your own serve.

He can't wriggle free of Djokovic. Deuce.
