It's all over in Birmingham with British number one Johanna Konta losing 6-3 6-4 to defending champion Petra Kvitova.
Konta struggled throughout the match, throwing in seven double faults, and was soundly beaten by the two-time Wimbledon champion.
It was a miserable day for British tennis fans at the Nature Valley Classic as earlier Heather Watson lost 7-6 (7/2) 7-5 to Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko.

If Andy Murray wanted to pick an ideal venue and tournament for his comeback then the Queen's Club Championships would probably be up there.
The Scot has won the event five times between 2009 and 2016 - more than any other player in its history. This is familiar territory then.
Game 10 in the second set and Murray twice strikes the net with backhands as Nick Kyrgios reverts to something more routine to hold serve. 5-5.

Andy Murray's return to another rocket of a serve from Nick Kyrgios is high. The Aussie emphatically volleys into the vacant half of the court. Kyrgios then wins the game with a beautiful cross-court forehand to hold serve.

Nadal and will Federer wil be taking note of this performance, and so will the rest of the tour, because I suspect most thought that it was over for Murray, but now I am optimistic.
