This is a tank from Kyrgios. He's just hitting the ball as hard as he can. That's fine but don't expect us not to call it because it is. You can't say you are injured when serving 138mph. You are fine physically.

Murray's movement looks alright to me. Although he's not doing much running on Kyrgios's service games - especially when the Aussie is crashing down serves almost touching 140mph. And sending them either out or down for an ace.

    Murray 4-2 Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios is tanking here, with some huge second serves.

Andy Murray, with a 65% return rate in the match so far, keeps badgering away on the baseline. A double fault hands Murray the game and a break of serve.

    Murray 3-2 Kyrgios

Andy Murray has slowly grown into this match and is starting to ask a few questions of Nick Kyrgios' serve.

Pantomine boos from the crowd at Queen's after Kyrgios belts a ball into net after a point was over. At break point Kyrgios then serves two aces.

However, Murray with a beautiful drop shot brings it back to deuce.

  6. Kvitova wins first set v Kontapublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 19 June 2018

    Konta 3-6 Kvitova

Back in Birmingham and the fourth seed Petra Kvitova wraps up the first set at the fourth attempt when Johanna Konta nets a forehand.

Kvitova looked in more control to take it in 50 minutes with Konta's serving letting her down.

He's been away so long but I don't see any difference. Andy's feel is good, he's hit some fabulous passing shots, his serve has the pace he needs. Has he lost any speed? I don't think so.

This is a terrible draw even if you are fully fit. He's played a lot worse in the first round than this - look at last year when he lost!

    Murray 3-2 Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios is labouring and sulking a little here which allows Andy Murray to get a foothold in the sixth game and a first break point.

Murray attempts an audacious cross-court backhand but it is just over the line.

    Deuce.

    Murray 3-2 Kyrgios

Murray politely calls for the towel after striking a return long to give Kyrgios an advantage. He drys his hands and mops his brow before saving the break point.

"Come on" Murray shouts to encourage himself.

Kyrgios can only twice strike the net off the Murray serve to enable to Scot to take the game.

I've missed Andy's sheer ability to create shots others don't have. He has the ability to move the ball around in this age of power.

    Murray 2-2 Kyrgios

Andy Murray fizzes his first ace of the match which spits up chalk as whizzes through. He follows it up with a double fault, though. There's certainly a bit of rustiness there.

A brief baseline rally sees Murray overhit a forehand. He challenges but Hawk Eye shows the ball is definitely long. At 30-40 he saves break point with a deft drop shot.

    Deuce.

Quite a few empty seats on the Centre Court at Queen's. Some people have to work on a Tuesday, don't they? Even if it is the comeback gig of a knight of the realm.

Unsurprisingly the media areas are jam packed, while quite a few grounds and catering staff are using their breaks wisely and watching.

    Murray 2-2 Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios unleashes the first ace of the match with a powerful serve deep into the court. Murray is able to get a point on the board but at 40-15 he is unable to return another giant serve from the Aussie.

    All square.

    Murray 2-1 Kyrgios

    Peter Fleming
Seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion on BBC Two

Andy Murray's movement is such a huge part of his game, but the biggest part is the confidence. The mental intensity is the hardest thing to get back. You will expect him to lose that bit of concentration here and there.

The bad news for Andy is most of the rallies will happen on his serve. If he misses a few serves then he's going to have to retrieve and fight hard.

Will his perspective on the game have changed a bit during this time off? Maybe. But he still is a serial competitor and despite what he has said about being happy to be here he will want to win.
