Temperatures are in the mid-20s Celsius at Queen's and world number five Grigor Dimitrov has done his bit helping some of the spectators to keep cool.

The 27-year-old Bulgarian did a stint in an ice-cream van before play started, handing out free ice-creams to some lucky fans.

    I'm more of a lolly-ice man myself.

Andy has looked a little rusty this set, which you would expect after such a long absence.

Defending champion Roger Federer has continued his fine run on grass ahead of Wimbledon, beating Slovenia's former Briton Aljaz Bedene 6-3 6-4 in the opening round of the Halle Open.

World number one Federer, who has won Halle nine times, dropped just eight points on his serve and was hardly troubled in a one-sided contest as he marched to victory in just over an hour.

    Murray 6-2 1-3 Kyrgios

Like a Harry Enfield's charater 'Kevin the teenager' Nick Kyrgios chunters to his support staff in the stands. He then holds serve to take a 3-1 lead.

Maybe the British fans thought, like many, this match would be a breeze for Nick Kyrgios and that's why there were more than a few empty seats in the first part of the opening set.

Not now. The ticket holders smell a story.

  9. Kyrgios breaks Murray servepublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 19 June 2018

    Murray 6-2 1-2 Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios languidly strolls about the court like he does not have a care in the world at times. He could be playing for fun The Aussie certainly has his own style.

At 15-30 Murray advances to the net to cleanly strike a confident backhand. Two points later he loses his footing on the baseline and miscues a return to give the Aussie a break opportunity.

Murray then strikes the net to lose consecutive service games.

Andy is playing well whatever Kyrgios is doing. The way he has found the middle of the racquet after a year out and the feel he has shown has been impressive.

He looks confident with his movement, he's not wary of the grass and he seems to be loving it.

Consistently inconsistent from Nick Kyrgios. After breaking Murray he then loses his own service game on a double fault.

Murray mutters something under his breath. "Am I wasting my time?" or something of that ilk.

I'm a little too far away from Team Murray (and minus binoculars) to make out everyone who is sat in Andy's box at the side of the court.

However, I can definitely pick out wife Kim and mum Judy alongside coach Jamie Delgado.

Kim is particularly vocal, offering shouts - and looks - of encouragement after every point.

    Murray 6-2 Kyrgios

Andy Murray might be a little rusty but one thing in his favour is his record against Nick Kyrgios.

Murray has never lost to the Aussie in their five meetings - with one win in each of the four Grand Slam events.

In 2015 the Scot saw Kyrgios off in straight sets at the Australian Open and French Open but required four sets in the US Open that year. They last met at Wimbledon in 2016 when Murray triumphed in three sets.

Murray was also victorious in their first meeting at the 2014 Canadian Masters.

    John Lloyd

Why play if you're not going to give it 100%? He's just whacking it. We've seen a couple of good points but double-faulting with 130-140mph second serves doesn't make sense.

This does Kyrgios more harm than good. if his arm was bad then there's no way he can serve at 138mph.

It doesn't suit Kyrgios to play second fiddle to anyone. This match was all about Murray until about 10 minutes ago and now it's all about Kyrgios.
