A big ace from Fabio Fognini to close out his opening service game in this set.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 6-3 0-0 Fognini*
Tricky bounce to deal with for Edmund, picking it up from around his feet and popping a forehand slice long.
He throws the next one long, too. 40-15.

Is Fognini going to continue the way he's been slapping the balls around?
Edmund 3-6 6-4 6-3 Fognini
Cool as you like.
Kyle Edmund takes the third set to edge into a 2-1 lead.
*Edmund 3-6 6-4 5-3 Fognini
An absolute slinger of a serve from Kyle Edmund that barely got any lift at all off the clay, a sliding Fabio Fognini can't coax it back.
Two set points for the Briton.
Kvitova 6-7 (6-8) 6-7 (4-7 ) Kontaveit
Bit of an upset on court one, where eighth seed Petra Kvitova has been beaten by Estonia’s Anett Kontaveit.
The two-time Wimbledon champion had been among the title favourites here after winning last month’s Madrid Open, but after a strong start to the match she finds herself out of the tournament in the third round.
*Edmund 3-6 6-4 5-3 Fognini
But there it is. Edmund snaffles up the break at the second attempt.
He'll serve for the third set.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 4-3 Fognini*
This time it's Edmund throwing his arm in the air in frustration, he just overcooks a forehand.
One break point saved for Fognini.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 4-3 Fognini*
A wild, wild forehand that Edmund has to duck beneath at the baseline.
Two break points.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 4-3 Fognini*
Fognini looks on in disbelief as if he cannot understand why that forehand dropped wide.
Another follows suit to make it 15-30.

What I loved the most about Fognini getting treatment was the fact a ballboy was crouched beside him, propping the Italian's head up with his hands. And then he helped with the strapping.
Fantastic work experience if the youngster ever decides to go into physiotherapy.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 4-3 Fognini*
Fabio Fognini just can't pick up his strokes at the minute, wrapping another forehand into the tape.
A trio of unforced errors is followed by a long backhand as Kyle Edmund holds.
*Edmund 3-6 6-4 3-3 Fognini
A lot of chuntering and hand signals from Fabio Fognini as he flops a forehand into the net under little pressure.
A backhand follows into the same spot. Edmund moves to 30-0.
*Edmund 3-6 6-4 3-3 Fognini
An easy hold for Fognini... Edmund unable to test that ankle.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 3-2 Fognini*
Wayward from Edmund, as Fognini strolls to 40-0.
Edmund 3-6 6-4 3-2 Fognini*
Right, Fabio Fognini is popping his shoes back on. Some serious strapping on his ankle now.
It's the Italian to serve after that short break.

I feel like there should be a different word for a sun umbrella, perhaps there already is... but I'm coining it a 'sunbrella'.
