Nadal has upped his game and changed the momentum after that second set. Dominic Thiem is now doing the same thing Rafa did to him, he's taking a time-out and going off court slowly.

At least Dominic you can celebrate Kristina Mladenovic's doubles win later.

    That's something isn't it?

15-30 as Nadal slaps another angled winner.

Nadal looks unstoppable right now. The tennis he is playing is exceptional and Thiem isn't able to stick with him.

    *Nadal 6-3 5-7 4-1 Thiem

Nadal is moving across the clay like Mark Ramprakash moved across the floor in Strictly 2006.

    15-0.

    30-0.

It's amazing to think it's taken Thiem four games to find that form he had in the second set. I hope it's a resurgence of that tennis now.

    That'll teach you Rafa.

Thiem goes 40-0 up on his serve.

Of course Nadal is having a rest, metaphorically speaking.

This is quite incredible. The turnaround after that second set has been immense from Nadal.

    *Nadal 6-3 5-7 3-0 Thiem

Not a lot is going right for Thiem.

All those spots he was hitting earlier suddenly seem smaller and harder to hit.

And the other annoying thing for him is that Nadal is a god - highlighted by the volleyed winner at the net with backspin to bring up 30-0.

    One for the Magic Circle.

The third set is usually humongous. The player who wins the third set usually goes on to win the match and Rafa will know that. His whole box also exploded and jumped up.

    Mate!

Thiem smacks the yellow ball into the net.

It's annoying to try to get the better of these 30-somethings.

He finally wins his first point in 12.

    15-40.

Thiem desperately needs to hold this game. He needs to regroup here.
