We always talk about momentum. At the end of the second set, Thiem won four points in a row. Now Nadal has won eight points in a row. How quickly has the momentum shifted?

The Alan McManus of tennis - Nadal is finding all the angles.

He swings Thiem from side to side before polishing off the game with a deft touch at the net.

Thiem has yet to win a point in this set.

It's not quite the Wimbledon hill, but those deckchairs don't look a bad place to enjoy the final at Roland Garros.

    Spot the difference...

Rafa nips off court quickly, presumably to the little boys' room. And for a mental reset. Thiem munches on an energy-boosting snack.

Thiem keen to crack on. He waits on the baseline while Rafa faffs about in his bag.

    Well, it worked...

This is exactly what we wanted from this final. Thiem did everything right to get that crucial break. We have got a match, there are going to be some doubts creeping in for Rafa even though he's won this 11 times.
