I'll have some of whatever that changeover physio is prescribing...

Kyle Edmund hits a forehand on a mad angled jag for 0-30 against the Verdasco serve in the opening game of the fourth set.

The Briton is chasing very gamely, even on the rough end of the next two points.

Verdasco gets over the line via a duffed blocked return from Edmund.

Importantly though Edmund looks like he was moving well...

The record books don't make good reading for Kyle Edmund.

Fernando Verdasco has come back from two sets down at Wimbledon, the US Open and the French Open. He certainly won't be throwing in the towel now.

Fernando Verdasco's final serve went right onto the apex of the service box there and right through the heart of Kyle Edmund.

Just days after sealing his first Grand Slam victory, 18-year-old Felix Auger-Aliassime is once again proving age is but a number as he wins the first set in his second round clash with Corentin Moutet.

He's attracted a decent crowd over on Court Three too, all eager to see the young prodigy who is seeded on his debut at SW19! Not many can say that...

The Russian 10th seed broke Lopez's serve at 6-5 to win the third set, but you get the feeling this one is far from over.

Kyle Edmund slaps a forehand winner across court like a gauntlet to the cheek. That brings up 40-0.

A curling, dipping forehand down the line from the Briton is just off kilter.

Edmund's dropshot lacks any disguise or guile on the next point and looks like fodder for Fernando.

But the Briton guesses right, gets a racquet to the ball and a lucky net cord to nick the point from under his nose.

A tie-break at least for Edmund...

    Controversy on Court Two.

Romania's Mihaela Buzarnescu complains to the umpire about a call at 0-30. The official says Buzarnescu could have tried to hit a ball that was initially called out before the computer ruled it was in after Halep challenged.

The point gives her opponent three match points. Halep takes the first with a tremendous forehand passing shot.
