With a big frame and long arms, Hurkacz really can generate a lot of power.

He'll have to be proactive, put Djokovic on the back foot and try to dominate the rallies early.

Djokovic isn't actually standing too far back on Hubi's first serves - that's confidence, we suppose.

The Pole races to 40-0 though.

Djokovic pulls a point back but cannot return Hurkacz's next serve which kicks up into his body.

Hurkacz hasn't found his range from the back yet.

Djoko on the other hand, despite producing a double fault, looks at ease here already.

Former champ Goran Ivanisevic, who is now part of Team Novak, is once again watching his student.

Joel Newnham: I can see this 3rd set on Centre Court going to an edge-of-your-seat tie break.

It's currently 4-4 in the third set between Guido Pella and Kevin Anderson, with last year's finalist Anderson two sets down.

The South African has had a few break opportunities in the third set but has failed to convert. He did come back from two sets down against Roger Federer last year though so anything is possible...

Only one match worth of history, at this year's French Open funnily enough.

That finished with a 6-4 6-2 6-2 defeat by Djoko.

This might finish similar, although apparently "Hubi", as he likes to be known, had a dicky tummy in Paris.

It's a fairly new partnership between Skupski and Murray. They've only played three tournaments together, and this is their first slam.

They've just been so lively, Dodig and Polasek. They've been buzzing around.

There's not a seat to be had, or any gaps for those standing, as they watch Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski struggle in the first round of the men's doubles.

It is a glorious day at Wimbledon and one lucky fan managed to snaffle a tennis ball after it hit a line judge and bounced out onto the concourse.

The young lad in a red cap did think about throwing it back but decided to keep it as a souvenir from his day out.

Should Novak Djokovic win today, he will reach the Wimbledon last 16 for the 12th time, equalling former coach Boris Becker's third place on the list for the most appearances at this stage of the tournament.

Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer top the list with 16 appearances apiece.

Hubert Hurkacz, meanwhile, is bidding to reach the round of 16 at a Grand Slam for the first time.
