    NOOO!

This match has hit the two hour mark.

Given that Gauff is only allowed to play 10 tournaments at professional level between her 15th and 16th birthday, this match could turn out to be the longest she's played for a while... or ever?

    *Hercog 6-3 6-7 (7-9) 0-1 Gauff

Gauff doesn't look put off by that break in play. In fact, she looks very sharp as she comes to the net and hits a winning volley.

Or maybe not... the American serves a double fault, her sixth of the match.

But Hercog slams a forehand into the net and Gauff gets off the mark.

Alice Stainer: It can't be denied that @CocoGauff, external is SOMETHING ELSE. When I came to the match, she looked as though she was down & out, though doing her best & keeping her composure. Amazing how she's managed to turn it around. Just goes to show you should never say die.

I think the momentum goes Coco's way. Hercog was in control, had two match points and let it slip. She doesn't have much experience at this stage in a major. I'm just wondering what is going on with her?

Karl Bristow: Good grief, the Gauff train is still rolling! What an edgy final rally, compelling viewing!

Kassim Patel: Gauff a real prodigy in tennis! No doubt a future grand slam winner.

Orry Jardine: Some match this. Coco Gauff’s defending in that set was brilliant. Well deserved to be 1 set all, should be an interesting final set

Coco Gauff's mum couldn't watch that tie-break, sitting there with her head bowed. You could cut the tension with a knife. And that was just in our commentary box!

And then she wins the set! Her dad goes mental, jumping to his feet and putting a foot on the barrier in front as he punched the air HARD.

    Once again, SHE'S 15!

    Coco loco!

    What is this 15-year-old doing?!

The best rally of Wimbledon so far! Both players seem to stop playing, waiting for the other to make a mistake. But Gauff decides she's had enough of that and comes to the net with a brave forehand to win it.

She beats her chest (great celebration, well played) and her mum is on her feet screaming her lungs out.
