Mattie: In any sport you can think of, it's hard to come back from the kind of injury that Andy Murray has suffered I'll be amazed if he ever reaches the heights he once reached.

Roy: Andy Murray is a shadow of his former self. Really struggling here.

Otte has to try to compose himself. He's 151st in the world and about to serve to potentially take a two sets to one lead against Andy Murray, in front of his home crowd and a passionate Centre Court.

    How are your nerves, Oscar?

One of the line judges is not feeling too well so we are just waiting for a replacement on Centre Court.

Murray is looking really, really frustrated - even more than usual. I know it's part of his game and how he pumps himself up, but he can't get out of his own head here.

We need to remind ourselves that our expectations are so high for Murray, but he's not the same player he was. He's not been playing enough.

A hold to love for Murray, but now Otte is serving for a two sets to one lead. Will there be another twist in this set?

The majority on Centre certainly hope so.

Throwing caution to the wind there but Murray has to get on the front foot.

He has to be the aggressor.

It's like a goalkeeper facing a penalty as Otte flings himself to his left to push out a shot, but all he can do is sit and watch as the rebound is stuck away.

But it doesn't matter for Otte as he wins the game and only needs one more for the third set.

This does not look good for Murray at the moment. His head is bowed after the end of every point, fingers fiddling with his strings.

It was good for Otte - he has the break and Murray in all sorts of bother.

    The crowd is stunned.

He has to do something to clamber out of this hole because his beloved Centre Court is a place of suffering from him.

    *Otte 3-6 6-4 4-3 Murray

There's the break for the German. Otte sends one right onto the baseline, Murray thinks it's going out and has to react at the very last second when he realises it's not.

As a result, Murray can't keep it alive and Otte, in the main draw at Wimbledon for the first time, is leading the two-time champion.

It's another good first serve from Murray and that saves the second break point. And the third?

I can hear the sound of wedding bells drifting down from a church in Wimbledon Village.

There is a metaphor in there somewhere.

Otte's service return is long. One break point saved, two to go.

Starting to feel a little gloomy on Centre. The sky, not the atmosphere. This one looks certain to finish under the lights. Perhaps the roof will crank into life after this set.

He's got a good touch for a big man. Oscar Otte, all 6ft 4in of him, gets down well at the net to flick over a gorgeous drop shot winner from a tight angle. Hold. 3-3 in the third.

Well, that’s not very British. When Oscar Otte double faults there was a round of applause from the Wimbledon crowd. How rude.
