    Otte 3-6 6-4 6-4 1-1 Murray*

Otte held that game following the Murray fall, but never write off Murray.

He produces a great winner and tries to gee up the crowd. It's Otte's turn to be on the deck, but following dive, not slip. 15-15, 1-1 in the fourth.

    Schwartzman 4-6 6-2 6-1 6-4 Broady

Diego Schwartzman has shown plenty here to see off Liam Broady.

At times where he needed to wear the Brit down he did, finding that extra shot in a long rally when necessary. When he then needed a little touch of quality, it was in there.

Broady, gallant, is improving rapidly as his world ranking shows but this was a step too far right now.

Schwartzman - ninth seed - plays Marton Fucsovics of Hungary in round two.

Fucsovics would be wise to practice chasing after drop shots, because Schwartzman can play them in his sleep.

That's a real cry of pain from Murray as he lost his footing as he tried to change direction.

You think of the groin issues he's had.

He seems to be moving freely enough.

Ouch! Murray slipspublished at 20:44 British Summer Time 30 June 2021

We had two matches ruined last night with injury withdrawals. Is this one going the same way?

Andy Murray's leg gives way and he crumples to the ground with a very painful looking fall. Given all his recent groin issues, that could be the very worst news.

We continue, but how will that fall affect this match.

A fine baseline rally, but Otte, from behind the baseline, with a gorgeous winner.

    *Otte 3-6 6-4 6-4 0-1 Murray

It's now Otte screaming at himself for netting and that leads to Murray holding. But there's not much bounce, much zip, much energy in Murray's game at the moment.

He's looking tired. How much has he got left in the legs?

Murray appreciates that he needs to be more aggressive - takes the risk... but makes the unforced error.

He does like to stress us out, doesn't he?

This is a reset moment for Andy. Just chill out a bit, breathe, let us chill out a bit, because it's really stressful and I'm sure all the fans here are wanting to get stuck in. I hope he's got the energy to make this set competitive.

Otte, dashing forward, dashing backwards, opts for a two-handed flick, but he's flicked it too much and out. Advantage Murray.

From 40-0 to deuce on the Murray serve, although Otte gets a big slice of fortune with a net cord.

At some stage we're going to have a 15-minute break for the roof to be closed, but not yet. Murray to start off the fourth.

The players are asked if they want the roof closed. Murray is not too keen at the moment so it stays open. Into set number four.

If Andy Murray is to make it through to the third round, he will have to do it in five.

Gerry Armstrong is coming on, Murray asking does the roof need to be closed right now.

I think they're going to play on... for now

Other than Otte’s roar of celebration, it was virtual silence which greeted him taking the set.

    Otte 3-6 6-4 6-4 Murray

If Andy Murray is going to move into the last 32, then he's going to have to come from behind and go the distance to do so.

Murray sends one wide, Otte celebrates and leads two to one.

Odd mood on Centre. Very flat at the changeover, as you would expect with Murray toiling, lots of arms folded and glum looks all round.

Confusion at first by the umpire’s announcement but we quickly get under way after Aurelie Tourte after has a tactical reshuffle of the line judges.
