On his potential quarter-final opponents still playing: "Wonderful, I hope it rains and they continue tomorrow, No only joking - no rain!

"My confidence level is very high after winning the French Open. That was one of the biggest wins under those circumstances, particularly in the second week. It took a lot out of me but at the same time it gave me wings.

"The further the tournament goes I feel like I am more confident on grass and I look forward to the next challenge."

Having just saved a couple of break points, Alexander Zverev has worked a few of his own thanks to a gorgeous slice volley at the net.

He misses out on the first one but the second is secured with another backhand volley that FAA can get nowhere near.

Earlier, there were some remarkable scenes on court 18 where Russian Karen Khachanov prevailed 10-8 in the fifth set against Sebastian Korda.

He sunk to his knees after wrapping that one up. You can't blame him after three hours and 49 minutes on court!

We've just seen a thriller between Karen Khachanov and Sebastian Korda, and this one on court two is hotting up as it heads into a fifth set.

After losing consecutive sets Hungarian Marton Fucsovics has picked himself and notched a bagel against Andrey Rublev of Russia to roar right back into this one.

It's either Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, the world number 48, or fifth seed Andrey Rublev of Russia next for the winner of this one. Djokovic one game away after another straight-forward hold.

No-one is looking particularly settled at the minute but Zverev hurries through a relatively quick serving game, holding as Auger-Aliassime sends a return of serve into the net.

This one's nearly over. Djokovic gets a double break and he's just been far too good for the world number 20.

The Serb gives himself space to open up the shoulders to force a brilliant forehand into the corner with Garin nowhere near it.

Over on Court One, Canada's rising start Felix Auger-Aliassime is taking on US Open finalist Alexander Zverev.

Proceedings haven' been helped by someone's phone ringing as Auger-Aliassime served to fend off break point, but after a quiet telling off from the umpire, the Canadian was able to save the break point and then hold as Zverev's forehand faltered.

That's another one for Djokovic, inching his way to the quarter-finals as he looks to match Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal's totals of 20 grand slam trophies.

It's a hold to 15 and time is running out for Garin.

Garin holds, but he's not looked like breaking the Djokovic serve for a while. Unless he can do so in the next four service games this one's over.

Djokovic looks to back up that break in the next game. He's at 40-15, crouching on his knees on the baseline and flicks a two-handed backhand just wide, but it doesn't matter as some brutal forehand work then forces Garin to go long.

It's a mountain to climb for Cristian Garin now. Djokovic, so, so fast around the court, slides around, keeps the ball alive and then finishes off a forehand winner and that's the break.

The chequered flag is not far away now for the reigning champion.

Djokovic is wanting to wrap this one up quickly now, he's at 0-40 on the Garin serve in the first game of the third set.

I jinxed it.

Karen Khachanov breaks Sebastian Korda to lead 9-8 in the fifth set and he'll have a fourth chance to serve out the match.

We all want this to go to 12-12 now though, right?
