Karen Khachanov breaks back once again to halt Sebastian Korda's progress for 2-3.

This time, the Russian 25th seed is able to make it count despite missing a smash at the net on his way to handing Korda two more break points.

The American fails to take either opportunity - the ninth and 10th in all in just six games in this topsy-turvy decider - and Khachanov eventually gets himself over the line to level at 3-3.

Blimey! Shocked 'oooohs' and wincing faces as Garin has to duck and use his racquet as a shield from a Djokovic return.

Looked like a little lost at the net there, did the Chilean.

Djokovic, of course, waves his hand in apology. He didn't expect to see Garin step in.

Ace from Barty gets her nose in front, and Krejcikova plants a forehand into the net to allow the top seed to come through a very tricky service game.

Garin only took a solitary point off the Djokovic serve in the first set and he has already done better in the second, 30-30

Brilliant, clean forehand from Barty into the corner of the court, and Krejcikova can't return it.

Deuce.

Big first serve out wide, and Krejcikova can't return it.

30-40. One more chance for Krejcikova.

As is so often the case after not converting a break point, Ash Barty finds herself 0-30 down.

She picks a superb time to whack an ace down but she gets a backhand all wrong, and Krejcikova has two break points of her own.

A much better start to the second set from Garin, with a bright red racquet. It's a hold, including a well-paced drop shot to leave Djokovic with no chance.

It will be a good test to see what Garin, remember in the top 30 in the world, has got after being a passenger for most of that first set.

Nice. A whippy forehand winner from Krejcikova puts her within touching distance of a hold.

And Ash Barty sends a forehand long to wrap up a good hold for the Czech.

And save it she does!

When she needs it the most, Krejcikova finds a first serve that Barty can't return.

Deuce.

Another twist in this match.

Russian 25th seed Karen Khachanov responds immediately to Sebastian Korda delivering the first blow of the fifth set by breaking back for 2-1.

Can he complete the job and pull himself back on level terms?

He can't!

A double fault from Khachanov hands Korda 15-30, before a superb passing shot by the American sets up two break points. He only needs one - and he'll now serve for a 4-1 advantage...

Not ideal for Barbora Krejcikova, as she double faults on the first point of her first service game.

Krejcikova serves and volleys and watches Barty's backhand drive drift long, but the Australian finds a blistering backhand that the surprised Czech bunts over the tramlines.

Krejcikova's hand-eye co-ordination is so good, outlasting Barty in the battle of the volleys, but a double fault takes her to deuce.

This is what you expect from a guy who's never been on Centre Court.

He just can't move - everything is so much harder to do.

It's overwhelming. See if Garin settles more in the second set.

That will be one of the easiest sets Novak Djokovic will ever play at Wimbledon. It lasts only 24 minutes and Djokovic only loses one point off his serve in that set.

A Centre Court mauling, so far

It's a hold to 15 for Garin, but now comes Djokovic serving for the first set. Garin's not come close to getting a break yet, but needs that to change, quickly.

Djokovic has been playing the ball in short making Garin approach the net when he doesn't want to. Bit of a masterclass so far.

Barty slips as she runs around to her left to make a forehand but, somehow, recovers well enough to batter it back and then ultimately win the point.

Krejcikova reminds her what she's capable of with a furious forehand that Barty can get nowhere near, but Barty blasts down a serve that the Czech can't get a racquet on for 40-15.

Long goes Krejcikova, and Barty holds first up.
