Right, then. Where were we?
Federer 5-5 Sonego*
Well, here we go.
Lorenzo Sonego will resume at break point down...

As someone who watches a lot of cricket, and thus a lot of rain, the roofs on the courts are a great idea.
Federer and Sonego will get a couple of minutes to warm up and get the legs moving again.

The roof might not be everyone's cup of tea at the sacred place that is the All England Club, but my, it is necessary. What a miserable Great British summer it has been in SW19 this fortnight.
Additionally, the hum of excitement and anticipation which it captures is fantastic. Like the buzz at a gig before the band is about to hit the stage.
And, today, the extra degree or two of warmth is greatly appreciated, too.

Roger Federer and Lorenzo Sonego have emerged from the locker room.

The best bit about the rain is when the umpire gets wheeled off while still on the chair.
I'm easily amused.

The indecision isn’t final. The lever is moved to ‘Close Roof’ and pressure is applied to the green button.
Cheers as the covers staff whip off the tarpaulin and the lights flick into action.
Federer 5-5 Sonego*
The covers are off on Centre Court and the roof is now, mercifully, fully closed.

If you're just joining us, here's what you've missed in this opening set on Centre Court.

Somebody put the roof into gear and pressed go, then moments later hit the brake. What’s the forecast looking like? Not great. On or off? The roof is starting, travelling and stopping more than a Tube on the nearby District line at the moment.

Tuesday is women's quarter-finals day, meaning that Emma Radacanu or Ajla Tomljanovic will have to finish up late tonight and then go again tomorrow.

British pair Arthur Fery and Tara Moore won the first set of their mixed doubles second-round match against Fabrice Martin of France and Alexa Guarachi of Chile. The duo also have a break in the second set and are 4-2 up.
Harriet Dart, who bowed out of the women's doubles with Heather Watson earlier, and mixed doubles partner Joe Salisbury took the first set 6-2 against Dutch pair Wesley Koolhof and Demi Schuurs.
However, the British duo trail 5-1 in the second set.
Hurkacz 2-6 7-6 3-6 4-3 Medvedev
Whilst we wait for the rain to stop, take a look at this ridiculous strike from Daniil Medvedev, who is two sets to one up on Hubert Hurkacz.

These covers staff don’t hang about. Sonego had barely managed to grab his bag off the chair before he was getting moved out of the way.

Spare a thought for Emma Raducanu and Ajla Tomljanovic, who are still waiting to start their fourth-round match.
It could be a long night.

Maybe this game is becoming more and more important for Sonego, because it is just started to rain.
You don't want to get broken here, and have that time to think about it!
They are going to stop and you, Lorenzo, are going to have to come back... and at break point down.
*Auger-Aliassime 6-4 7-6 (8-6) 3-6 3-6 1-0 Zverev
The roof is going to be closed as well on Court One. We stop in the fifth, with Felix Auger-Aliassime a break up at 1-0 in the fifth and 30-0 on his serve in the second game.
It will be a 15-minute delay while the roof is closed.
Federer 5-5 Sonego*
Oh of ALL the times to stop play.
The players are sent off as the covers come on at Centre Court. Court One is also covered and it is coming down quite heavily now...

Uh oh. Rain is starting to drip down from the gloomy SW19 sky. That's not dampening the enthusiasm though - ear-popping whistles and cheers send the decibel meter reading north.
