  1. Berrettini to face Djokovic in men's finalpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 10 July 2021

I'm sure you didn't, but in case you missed yesterday's action at Wimbledon, defending champion Novak Djokovic will meet Italy's Matteo Berrettini in the men's final tomorrow.

Five-time Wimbledon champion Djokovic needed all of his skill and experience to defeat Canada's Denis Shapovalov, 22, 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 7-5.

Meanwhile, Berrettini earned a 6-3 6-0 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 win over Poland's Hubert Hurkacz to become the first Italian to reach the men's singles final.

  2. What else is happening today?published at 13:09 British Summer Time 10 July 2021

There's plenty of British interest as the wheelchair doubles come to a conclusion.

Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid play Dutchman Tom Egberink and Belgian Joachim Gerard, before Lucy Shuker and South African partner Kgothatso Montjane take on Jordanne Whiley and Japan's Yui Kamiji.

Elsewhere, Britain's Neal Skupski and American Desirae Krawczyk are in mixed doubles semi-final action on Court One (not before 14:00 BST).

  3. What else is happening today?published at 13:07 British Summer Time 10 July 2021

The women's and men's doubles finals follow the women's singles final on Centre Court today.

First up, Russian pairing Veronika Kudermetova and Elena Vesnina face third seeds Su-Wei Hsieh, of Chinese Taipei, and Belgian Elise Mertens.

Then, Croatia's top seeds Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic meet Argentina's Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.

Never mind the garage door or the living room skirting board... this is the most important paint job of the day.

The Wimbledon groundstaff were out giving a lick to the Centre Court lines just before midday, a few coats of white emulsion carefully applied by a team of three.

Two are in charge of the lining up the guiding wire with the accuracy of geometers, with the third carefully pushing the barrow along at the speed of a snail.

Lovely technique too. One foot moves into front of the other, heel to toe, while head is cocked to the left to focus on the front wheel.

If Barty and Pliskova play with the same precision today then we're in for a treat.

  5. 'Play the opponent, not the final'published at 13:02 British Summer Time 10 July 2021

    Martina Navratilova
    Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion

With both women experiencing their maiden Wimbledon finals, Martina Navratilova says the key will be who "handles the occasion the better".

My advice to both players would be 'just play the ball'. You're playing the opponent, you're not playing the Wimbledon final.

Of course if you get to match point and your heart starts pounding then you feel like you're going to faint, but you somehow manage to keep it together by playing by memory.

Everyone gets nervous and everyone chokes, it's how little you can choke, how well you can handle the nerves.

The key is to admitting 'OK, this is what I'm feeling now, what do I have to do to win this next point' and bring it back to the tennis.

  7. A first since 1977...published at 12:58 British Summer Time 10 July 2021

This is the first time since 1977 that both women are playing in a Wimbledon final for the first time.

Ashleigh Barty won the 2019 French Open in her only previous Grand Slam final.

Former world number one Pliskova is also competing in her second major final - but she was beaten at the US Open in 2016.
