The serve is definitely back for Pliskova - much more pace on it.
Ash Barty is just walking side to side here - nothing you can do with serves like that.
Barty 6-3 5-5 Pliskova*
It's taken a while but we're finally seeing the real Karolina Pliskova. Another ace moves the Czech 40-0 in front. But then a routine hold hits a roadblock when she dumps a volley into the net with Barty stranded. Maybe I spoke too soon.
Nine-time champion Martina Navratilova can't believe it. She's probably never missed one in her life. Could that prove costly?
Barty 6-3 5-5 Pliskova*
This is why she is the world number one. Barty finds her first serve to escape the danger, sealing the hold with an ace.
"Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!" shouts someone probably decked out in green and gold. Maybe the cuddly kangaroo I spotted on Centre Court before play.
Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV
Pliskova has done an excellent job of asserting herself in this match.
Barty at one moment was thinking 'wow, just three more games'.
Now, she's in a tussle.
*Barty 6-3 4-5 Pliskova
A long duel to kick things off. Pliskova blinks first, pushing a double-handed backhand into the tramlines. She raises her hands skywards, with eyes looking in the same direction.
But then a double fault from Barty brings it back to 15-15...
*Barty 6-3 4-5 Pliskova
Impressive turnaround from Pliskova. Now it is Barty serving to stay in the second set...
Pat Cash
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Live
Pliskova is almost untouchable when she plays like this. You can see how dangerous she can be.
*Barty 6-3 4-5 Pliskova
Pliskova is starting to find her groove now. A backhand down the line leads to gaps of admiration from the crowd, as does an ace for 40-0.
That sees her on the home straight and the Czech is over the line when Barty can't direct the ball back.
John McEnroe
Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
Karolina Pliskova is a different player now.
This is what we thought she would try to do in the beginning.
She dug deep at 3-1 and recognised the importance of getting that hold and putting some pressure on Barty. Now we're seeing what she's capable of and why she's here.
Barty 6-3 4-4 Pliskova*
Oooof, fine margins. Both players challenge calls made by the same line judge on the ad side of Pliskova's half of the court. Both go the way of Barty and means she leads 30-0.
Pliskova can't believe the second one, it touched the tiniest speck of white paint.
She swishes her racquet on the grass, but can't get it out of her head. Barty refocuses and claims the next two points for a hold to love.

Georgie Heath: What a change in momentum. Serious gear switch from Pliskova
When Barty broke earlier in this set, it looked like it might be curtains for Pliskova. Here's how the Aussie did it...

When we look at that game where Pliskova broke, you could see the turnaround in her approach - belief that this is where she could get into the game.
*Barty 6-3 3-4 Pliskova
Now then, Pliskova has clawed the break back. Can she maintain her composure and hold serve? Yes. Yes she can.
A thumping 115mph ace puts her 40-0 ahead and, although Barty reduces that to 40-15, the Czech eases to the hold after a deep forehand rocks the Aussie.

We have a final.
Karolina Pliskova has released herself. She's taken off the shackles.
Barty 6-3 3-3 Pliskova*
Ladies and gentleman, we have a final on our hands. Karolina Pliskova is back in business, that winner stirring the soul and clearing the mind. Barty goes into the net on the first break point and we're back on serve.

There is still along way to go for Barty, and all Pliskova can do is make her play. Let Ash get nervous, because she's not done that so far.
Pliskova's just got to drag it out and slow it down.
*Barty 6-3 3-2 Pliskova
Oh hello! Out of nowhere, Pliskova brings up three break points with a blistering forehand winner down the line. Sure I saw a trail of fire behind the ball...
Laura Robson
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live
I know Pliskova's not an emotional person, but I just feel if she could show something and get the crowd involved, they're desperate to help her out here.
