Djokovic 2-1 Berrettini*
The door was ajar for Berrettini, but then slammed in his face as a wild forehand flies long, followed by a couple of unreturnable serves as Djokovic holds.

*Djokovic 1-1 Berrettini
Djokovic's serve is not firing yet. Two double faults in game one, another one in game three.
Berrettini with a half chance at 0-30.

It's the variety he can bring on his serve and his second serve. Just a little of bit of slice and it jammed Djokovic up. Clever.

Interesting to see, with Berrettini serving at the end in front of me, the strapping which covers his left thigh.
Don't recall seeing that during his semi-final win over Poland's Hubert Hurkacz.

The problem with being a little nervous is that you don't move as easily. You're a little stuck.
*Djokovic 1-1 Berrettini
This is the third meeting between Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini, with the world number one taking both previous matches.
Djokovic won in four sets in the French Open quarter-finals earlier this year and also gained a victory in the group phase of the 2019 ATP Finals, across London at the O2 Arena.
Berrettini is taken to 30-30 on his first service game, but a brutal overhead smash helps him hold and both players have something on the board.

Djokovic knows he can hold his serve with two double faults and a really poor game is a good thing for him.
That is the worst start I have ever seen him play!

Not the quick, confident opening hold which Djokovic would have wanted. Five minutes on the clock just to the left of the Royal Box.
Let's see how Berrettini, whose serve is his big weapon, handles his first game with the ball in hand.
Djokovic 1-0 Berrettini*
A very strange opening game to get us going. Novak Djokovic makes two double faults, Matteo Berretini gets to break point, but the chance slips through his fingers.
Both players made three unforced errors in that game and Djokovic gets away with that one.
Britain's Gordon Reid has lost to Belgium's Joachim Gerard in the Wimbledon men's wheelchair singles final.
Reid, who won the doubles title with Alfie Hewett on Saturday, lost 6-2 7-6 (7-2).
The Scot, 29, had trailed 4-1 in the second set before mounting a fightback to force a tie-break but Gerard was more consistent.
"It's a tough speech to make. Sometimes you have to say I lost to the better player," an emotional Reid said.
Reid had been chasing his second Wimbledon singles title after victory in 2016.
The women's wheelchair singles final will be between world number one Diede de Groot, from the Netherlands, and South Africa's Kgothatso Montjane.
Berrettini is unable to take the break chance. What a start that would've been and that would've spiced things up.

One bloke jumps to his feet and claps when Djokovic produces that opening double fault.
Well, that's not very nice. Presuming it is an Italian fan.
He does the same on the second from the Serb. Some grumblings of surprise from many others.
Djokovic with his second double fault of the opening game gives Berrettini a break chance.

So far both players are showing signs of nerves.
A couple of unsure returns from Berrettini, both dumped halfway up the net, 30-30.

Jiten Chandarana: Not a good move from Matteo to elect to receive IMO. He probably feels he wants to get into the match and not risk losing serve, but he should have took the positive option of backing his strength and staying ahead in the score. First set crucial for Matteo.

Suddenly the volume is turned down to mute.
"Ready, play!" says Marija Cicak, who is the first female to umpire the men's singles final here.
Wait, couple more shouts of 'Idemo'. That's the Serbian equivalent of 'Come on!'
A double fault from Djokovic to start us off. Even the best have nerves.
Djokovic to serve after Berrettini elected to receive. Here we go.

Matt Tatler: Wimbledon has been superb to watch these past two weeks on #bbctennis so much quality tennis by all the players involved. Djokovic has been the star to beat and hope he does the business on the court. Big respect to this player and good luck to Novak and his opponent too.
