"Great serve Andy!" comes the shout as Murray's ace swings out left. I'm not quite sure if that came from Broady or the man himself, but someone is loving his work.

Broady's forehand lands long and Murray gets an arduous hold.

Murray kicks off his service game with an ace down the middle and Broady scuffs the return when the Scot hits the same spot again. 30-15.

Murray has the upper hand on the scoreboard, but he is struggling with movement around the court at times.

He gives up on chasing one of Broady's shots and then misses a return to make it 40-15.

Broady tests out Murray's movement one more time and it pays off again, as the 26-year-old slams down a winner to hold.

Murray mis-hits a forehand and it lands long, but Broady repays the favour with a forehand into the net. 30-15.

And it's all pretty straightforward from there. Broady's forehand lands way out and Murray holds.

Andy Murray is blowing pretty hard as he puts the headset on to talk to the Amazon Prime commentators:

"You can practise it as much as you want but it's not until you get on a match court that you see how you're moving. You always push yourself a bit more in a match."

Broady hits a backhand wide and Murray has an in. He soon converts that into break point.

A lengthy rally ensues and it all ends in a Murray fist pump as Broady's backhand goes into the net and Murray goes a set and a break up.

Once again Murray's serve is just too much for the younger Brit.

Murray's ace swings out left to take the former Wimbledon champion 30-15 up.

Broady hits a backhand return long, but recovers as he reaches for Murray's volley and hits it back round his opponent. 40-30.

"Come on!" Murray shouts as Broady goes 30-15 up.

The younger Brit comes to the net and slams the ball way to the right of Murray. A straightforward hold for Broady.

Murray's coach Jamie Delgado is happy with what he's seen so far, saying on Amazon Prime:

"He hasn't played a competitive set since the Davis Cup so it's good to be out there and feel a few nerves that he hasn't for a while. So I'm pretty happy with that first set."

Novak Djokovic has apologised for organising the Adria Tour, saying it was "wrong" and came "too soon".

Earlier today, it was revealed the world number one had tested positive for coronavirus.

The news came after Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki all revealed they had also tested positive after playing at Djokovic's event.

After the earlier statement, the Serb has now posted another message on an Instagram story...

That's that, Murray wraps up the first set fairly easily in the end.

An ace brings up two set points.

Every time Broady has gone to the back right corner, Murray has not been able to get on the end of it. It works again and Broady gets himself into the game at 15-15.

Murray comes to the net, something he hasn't done much of in this match, and Broady has no response to the volley. 30-15.

It's a miracle! Fixed in seconds.

Liam Broady picked up the headset at the changeover and spoke to the Amazon Prime commentators from his bench.

"It's pretty disjointed, some sporadic tennis to say the least. I need to make the court more special on my own service games.

"It's always tough because Andy is not your normal player, there are balls coming at you from different varieties and paces than you're used to."

There's a lovely buffering sign in the middle of my TV but we'll persevere - I can still see most of what's happening.

For example, Murray just looks to have become exhausted halfway through a rally and half-heartedly knocks a backhand into the net. 0-15.
