Well, that seems a good way to wrap things up for our live text today, but of course we'll be back tomorrow.

    And so will Barbora Krejcikova!

The French Open singles champion returns for the doubles final alongside compatriot Katerina Siniakova as they take on Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Iga Swiatek.

It is also the men's singles final, and someone not named Rafael Nadal will be etched on to the La Coupe des Mousquetaires as Novak Djokovic faces Stefanos Tsitsipas.

And don't forget, British number one Johanna Konta has a final of her own to play at the Nottingham Open, a match you can watch live on the BBC.

    Until then...

Barbora Krejcikova is such a good talker, she's asked about her idol Justine Henin and tells a story about how she would watch her on TV as a child with her mother, and how when she met her this week she couldn't believe Henin knew who she was! Brilliant.

  3. 'It's made my dreams come true'published at 16:39 British Summer Time 12 June 2021

And the French Open winner, Barbora Krejcikova: "It was a really close match, I want to congratulate Anastasia as well, she has already won so many tournaments and has so much experience. I am sorry!

"This is something I always dreamed of, especially having Martina here and Mr Kodes here watching, texting me, preparing me. Jana did before but she is not here anymore.

"Everyone back home, my parents and everyone I know, I really want to thank them for giving me all of this courage to step on this court, work hard and fight for every single ball, and making my dreams come true."

  4. 'Thank you for believing in me'published at 16:34 British Summer Time 12 June 2021

Some words from Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova now: "It is funny because since a little girl I was thinking if, one day, what I would say if I had to do a speech - right now I forget everything I was preparing. Thanks a lot to the crowd, I heard a lot of support from you and it means a lot to both of us, especially in difficult times.

"I just want to say a big thank you to my parents and my brother, who is here with me, a couple of weeks ago he told me: 'I've got you, we are going to get something big'. I said I thought I needed more time but a couple of weeks later we are in the final at Roland Garros. So thank you for believing and pushing me.

"Last but not least, congrats to Barbora I really don't know how you have that courage playing singles and doubles, by the last point I was dead! Best of luck tomorrow."

There were quite a few tears as you can imagine, but how you keep it together remembering someone who was such a special part of your life when you've just won your first Grand Slam singles title, only she knows. Just a stunning fortnight for her.

    Now then, how're your nerves?

Barbora Krejcikova forces Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova wide with a serve and follows it up to smash away a forehand. But she stings a backhand into the tape off the next.

Psychologically it just changes and shifts dramatically after having match points. Krejcikova's heart must have been palpitating out of her body. Pavlyuchenkova looked remarkably calm facing the match points.
