  11. Break pointpublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 12 June 2021

    *Pavlyuchenkova 1-6 0-0 Krejcikova

Just too good from Barbora Krejcikova - that is a sensational return and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova doesn't even have time to engage her swing before the ball is past her. Break point for the Czech.

Pavlyuchenkova is going to have to do something to unsettle Krejcikova and take her out of her comfort zone. At the moment it is one pace. She looks a little panicked - I guess in her mind she's looking at the crowd and thinking 'I don't want to be one of those finalists who doesn't give them value for money.'

But that's superb from the 31st seed, disguising a delightful drop shot that wriggles over the tape and anchors down on the clay. 15-15.

How about that for 30 minutes' hard work? It was a relentless and eye-catching performance. It doesn't get much more comprehensive than that.

It's becoming a bit of a mini crisis for Pavlyuchenkova here. The crowd is trying to gee her up. She is not being allowed to play her best, she needs to keep a lid on.
