We are into a third-set tie-break on Court One, meanwhile.

Can Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram wrap up a straight-set victory to reach the men's doubles final?

They haven't started the breaker well - 3-1 down after a mini-break.

Halep still describes her victory over Serena Williams in the 2019 final as "the perfect match of my life" after she dismantled the seven-time champion in just 56 minutes.

With the tournament cancelled in 2020, Halep was unable to defend her title a year later after picking up a calf injury and has since said she considered retiring after losing her love for the game.

However, with a new coach in Patrick Mouratoglou, who worked with Williams for 10 years, the Romanian says she has rekindled her joy for tennis.

"He sent me somehow this confidence, and I started to believe in myself again that I have that chance to be a good player again," Halep said.

"He thinks that everything is possible. So this helps me to trust a lot in what I'm doing."

Former Wimbledon finalist Agnieszka Radwanska said she had been impressed by Halep, adding: "You can see fire in her eye again. She really wants to do it again."

Elena Rybakina is the first player representing Kazakhstan to reach the last four at Wimbledon.

Born in Russia, she has represented Kazakhstan since 2018, meaning she was able to compete at the All England Club this year despite the ban on players from Russia and Belarus.

The 17th seed called for peace in her news conference following her quarter-final victory over Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic.

"I just want the war to end as soon as possible and peace," she said.

"I was born in Russia, but of course I am representing Kazakhstan. It's already a long journey for me.

"I'm feeling just the support of the people and also bringing some results which are very good for the sport in Kazakhstan."

Britain's Joe Salisbury was taken to eight deuces on his serve the game after he and Rajeev Ram had broken back to restore parity in the third set. The game took almost 15 minutes.

Salisbury and Ram saved four break points - and now they are one break of serve away from the Wimbledon men's doubles final.

"I don't know what to say. It's a dream come true from years of work and sacrifice. I'm happy that's paid off and I'll continue for one more match.

"It was more difficult running for her balls! She has to make me a barbecue now for all the running I did on the court! I wanted to share the moment with her at the end because she's such an inspiration for so many people including me, coming back after having two babies I can't believe how she did it.

"Physically Tatjana is a beast, she doesn't give up, I thought she would give up, her touch, her serve and everything on the court is impressive. I hope she's continues this way. Let's not play again I'm good for now!

"I'm a proud Tunisian woman standing here today - I know in Tunisia they are going crazy right now. I just try to inspire as much as I can - I want to see more Arab and African players on the tour, I love the game and I want to share the experience with them. I saw some juniors playing out there and I hope to see them out here on Centre Court one day."

Jabeur has been hanging out with Maria and her children during this year's tournament and the pair have enjoyed the odd barbecue together.

The third seed jokes that her friend owes her another barbecue now "to make up for all the running she made me do on the court".

The tension rises on Centre Court as the rally goes longer and longer. Eventually Jabeur gets a chance at a cross-court winner but it swings wide.

Still two match points left.

Ons Jabeur races forward and slaps down an overhead to go 15-0 up, before Tatjana Maria's shot goes long for 30-0.

Two points away...

She deserved that.
